Cafe Italia

On recommendation from a friend who tried this place over a year ago and loved it we ventured in with high hopes and what transpired was one of the most disappointing meals we've had in a very long time. The worst part as a customer is you have no option but to pay for food that you would never serve at home. The food was anything but authentic Italian. Pizza bases looked they'd been bought from the supermarket and toppings un-flavoursome. The gnocchi itself was the only slightly decent part of the meal in terms of texture however didn't expect poached pear and candied walnuts. Save your money and keep walking until you find one of the more authentic Italian restaurants who do their country of origin proud.

I went to cafe Italia for the al Yu can eat pizza night. I could not be more disappointed. The staff were unhelpful and service was very poor. The pizzas were the worst pizzas I have ever had, undercooked, flavourless with a hint of dissatisfaction. However the worst bit of the experience was the lack of pizzas they served us. In the 3 hours we were there we got 12 bottles of water and 1 small pizza the size of your hands put together every hour. Do not waste your money on this place as there are plenty of restaurants that will actually comply with feeding you at an all you can eat.
