The Kettle Black

Thoroughly enjoyed the melt in mouth salmon which was accompanied by a refreshing tangy salad. The oat cappuccino that I had tasted decent, though I thought their sister brand Higher Ground did a slightly better job. The ricotta hotcake came beautifully decorated with fruits and seeds and was quite large and thick. The hotcake itself is not sweet which helps balance off with the syrup that’s poured over it. Kettle Black a lovely place to hang out if you managed to snag a good seat. My only issue is that they seem to discriminate single diners and assign them to stools instead of proper seats even though a booking had been made and I was not just having coffee but a full meal.

Best brunch experience in a while at The Kettle Black. This place offers booking so you can enjoy brunch without the usual lining up and wait. We ordered large coffees and the price is great compared to other places. The dishes we choose are Sicillian Chilli Scrambled Eggs and Brisket Benedict. They are both delicious with the Brisket being the winner of the two. The brisket melt in your mouth and the milk bread pair with it perfectly. Only suggestions is that the mushroom might be better served warm. They didn’t have weekend surcharge, so you get better value for your money, highly recommended!

We’re so happy to dine in at Kettle Black again after two years! Visited Kettle Black for an afternoon coffee & snack! Though it was a busy Sunday afternoon and we’re able to get our table very quickly! Thank you so much the venue manager Rita for helping us. Rita and other staffs there are very friendly & helpful.The service was quick and we didn’t need to wait for long for our coffee and food , despite it’s busy! Thanks for the delicious coffee & waffle ! Two happy customers here

Vibrant with the decor, beautiful ambience - we landed at this Cafe in my neighbourhood this morning. Just tried one dish from the menu - chilli scramble as we were pretty full. Scrambled eggs were perfect. Been a long time to see such a beautiful scramble in a cafe. Wasn't overcooked or too runny. Just perfect! Beautiful combination of Nduja and scrambled eggs! Love the service- everyone is very welcoming and with a big smile :) Will visit again for more! Love the idea of the coffee shop outside. It is a vibe!
