Red Lobster

I’ll start off with the food was great, once we received it. 5pm on a Sunday, the restaurant was pretty empty, but they only had 1 waitress working, so there was a 20 minute wait. Once we were sat, we waited 10 minutes for the waitress who told us it would be another 6 or 7 minutes before she could help us. The atmosphere was pretty depressing. It was basically pitch black and the music would cut in and out every few seconds. We weren’t given any drink refills and the endless shrimp on the menu was listed as $22, but we were charged $25. All told we were there for 2 hours, and even though the food was good, everything else was pretty miserable, including the shady business practice of charging a different price than the menu states. EDIT: Went back on 12/5 after Red Lobster provided us with a giftcard. The service was much MUCH better this time. The food was great as well.

Melanie is excellent. It is busy in here but she has done a great job. I had the stuffed shrimp crab Rangoon and the crab cake dinner. My husband had the mushrooms, fish and chips. I had the manager come over and tell of Melanie's great service. Thank you manager Tracy. Y'all keep up the good work. She was very attentive.

It is a lovely place and the food is delicious. Had the mozzarella cheese sticks, and while smaller than what you'd expect, you get a heaping serving, and they're absolutely delicious. The bread you're given is incredible, and if you're not careful, you could eat too many. Got the filet and salmon, and both were delicious. However, I've also had the snow crab legs before, and they're also really good. Family member got a large dinner plate with two types of lobster, pasta with shrimp, and broccoli. However, the service started off good, but we ended up waiting too long for the waitress to come back to give us boxes to go, but otherwise, she was friendly and attentive.

We visited on probably what was their worst day ever. Went in for a late lunch on Jan 2, 2023 figuring it wouldn't be busy. Well it wasn't but apparently the majority of the staff hasn't shown up for work. We were told there were no dishwashers, no bus boys, only 1 cook, and 2 servers. We and several other groups had a wait while they tried to clear tables off. Our waitress tried to make the best of it but she was clearly stressed. She even joked about the fancy new bowls our clam chowder came in... plastic takeout bowls because no clean bowls. We just got the lunch soup/salad with a side of fried shrimp. It was good although the shrimp was a little overcooked. I can't really give a complete review as it was certainly extraordinary circumstances.
