Fujiyama Seafood & Steak

I honestly don't know where to start! This is the first time since I started doing reviews that I've written one for a place that I'm very familiar with, rather than somewhere at least relatively new. I've come here for years. It's basically home away from home for my family. Every time we come there, we're welcomed with open arms. I've shown up after work when there's barely enough time to order, when I could barely afford to eat, when everywhere was packed and it was super busy. I never feel like a burden or an inconvenience. This place truly makes me feel right at home. I've sat in hibachi seating with friends and family and loved the show. The cooks are skillful and often quite cheerful, as well. I tend to sit "inside", though, away from the crowds and the fire, where there is usually space. The sushi chefs tend not to make themselves known, like silent artists, but they show themselves where it counts! (The dinner plate?) I've always viewed the waitresses there well, but I'm probably most familiar with Wendy, who's always nice and helpful. The interior is minimal, but very stylish, and really gives you the impression of traditional Japanese culture. I've had various meals there over the years, but my list of favorite items would be: matcha ice cream tempura, clear soup, the great kiss roll, shrimp tempura roll, and salmon hibachi.

Been here previously..was served at table not hibachi as requested. Unfortunately this dining experience did not match my previous visit. I ordered the hibachi chicken. The food was barely warm and the flavor bland to the point of the chicken being dry. The rice was even more disappointing. It tasted as though it had been sitting for hours on heat. The waitress was great. The white Russian drink was good. Not sure why the food served in the bar can't be as good as food served at the hibachi. Very disappointing.

This is a great place, seems to be the “it” restaurant for birthdays and special occasions. Prompt and friendly service, great food, huge portions, fun experience, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend a reservation because it’s very popular. Very happy we chose this restaurant for our teen’s birthday.

Let me just say what an amazing experience we came here to celebrate my daughters 7th birthday. The place is very nice and organized and very clean they do an amazing job getting guests in and out. We first ordered our drinks and then after ordering our drinks they went ahead and gave us the house salad and they also gave us soup as well. The chef was absolutely incredible and really put on a good show. They were really accommodating and understanding with my daughter's allergies to scallops, shrimp and soy. They were also nice enough to go ahead and sing happy birthday to her as well thank you Fujiyama for the wonderful experience!!!
