Had dinner with teammates for the 5K Holloween run. Everyone loved the wings! I am not a big fan of meatballs, but I really enjoyed the ones they served. Superb organizer event facilitator providing such free quality food and beer, plus the exceptional view of water. It's a great place to hang out. Definitely going back for more...

Our first visit to Squid Lips ensured that we would come back. We ordered the stuffed sweet potato (pulled pork), the shrimp poke bowl, banini bread (OMG!), and frozen house margaritas. Since it was our anniversary, we splurged and had dessert: banana pudding and chocolate cake. Everything tasted great, our service was exceptional, and the band made for a fun atmosphere.

Lovely little place, right on the water. Live music while we were there, a sign in the bathroom said life music every night. Volume was very reasonable. Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Place looked a little dingy, but it came off much more sea shanty than dirty, so no complaints there. 5/5 for a relaxing couples dinner. Would return again, with enthusiasm.

Atmosphere: The ambiance was delightful. Nestled in a quaint downtown area, the restaurant buzzed with a relaxed, family-friendly vibe, drawing in a lively crowd both indoors and outdoors. The interior decor exuded the charm of a seasoned fisherman's abode. Food: The culinary experience was quite pleasing. The calamari, while somewhat standard, held its own. It didn't venture into extraordinary territory but certainly satisfied. The accompanying chips with balsamic and blue cheese boasted delightful flavors, though a heartier option like tots or fries would have been even more satisfying. The praline sea bass won over my parents, and I was particularly fond of the Mahi. I wholeheartedly recommend both choices. And let's not forget the banana pudding – a true star. Not only did it arrive in a visually appealing presentation, but it also tantalized the taste buds, and the portion size was generously ample, catering to hearty appetites. Service: Regrettably, the service left much to be desired. Our server appeared to be performing the bare minimum, with infrequent check-ins that necessitated flagging him down multiple times. It felt as if attending to us was a burdensome chore for him. Overall: Despite the service hiccup, we intend to revisit due to the fantastic food, picturesque views, and the restaurant's inviting atmosphere. We're inclined to attribute the service shortfall to a possible off night, and we're hopeful for an improved experience next time. Our overall rating stands at 4 out of 5 stars, with the deducted point reflecting the aforementioned service lapse.

Excellent service, great atmosphere and ok food. We had a table of 8 that was handled expertly. Pedro took our orders perfectly and was never too far to refresh drinks. We ordered the Shrimp Poke Bowl and Pineapple Teriyaki Mahi Sandwich. The bowl tasted good and had plenty of shrimp. The mahi sandwich had a slice of pineapple but the teriyaki sauce was poured on the edge so most of it was on the plate. That’s just sloppy. And when you’re just doctoring Sysco food, you really need to focus on that part to differentiate you from the pack. Other guests said their food was ok but generally bland. Love the location and atmosphere, but everything needs a good washing.

During my vacation in Florida, my son treated me to a delightful Mother's Day dinner at Squidlips. The experience was truly memorable. For starters, I indulged in the mouthwatering coconut onion chips, which were a unique and delicious appetizer choice. My son tried the conch fritters. As my main course, I opted for the shrimp and scallop scampi, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were rich, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. To complement my meal, I enjoyed an orange crush, which came in a signature cup that I got to keep as a memento. The outdoor deck dining added to the overall experience, providing a pleasant atmosphere to savor the meal. Additionally, the weather was delightful, further enhancing the enjoyment of the evening. Squidlips is definitely a place I would recommend for its delectable dishes, refreshing beverages, and charming outdoor dining setting.
