[+] The location is good, with plenty of bus access and on street parking. [+] The service I got was friendly. [+] The interior has space for groups and individuals, with several tables of outside seating. [+] The prices are reasonable and in line with larger cafes (at least for black coffee) [+] The baked goods all looked great. The cookie I had was the best I’ve had in a long time. melted chocolate with soft gooey inside, but just baked outside. [–] The coffee was good not great, if you enjoy strong coffee. [–] The inside is loud at times, not from the music, but from ambient noise. Not a problem if your head down in a phone/book, but may be difficult to have a conversation.

I had heard good things about this place and I was hoping to spend some local $$ instead of going to Starbucks. However, my iced mocha latte tasted like a cup of milk and all of the chocolate was in chunks/shavings on the bottom to the point where it clogged my straw a few times. The guy that took my order was very nice and polite, but the girl who made it (or was training him) was rude and seemed annoyed to have a customer.

If the owner made the drinks, this cafe would have 5 stars easily. The workers who make the lattes make them undrinkable at worst and mediocre at best. I’m going to start searching for another local cafe as the last several lattes we have had here were burnt or flavorless. The latte I have in my hand I’m struggling to drink as it tastes like stale coffee from a Coffeemate that is never cleaned. I’m hopeful that this place will bounce back with time.

The coffee was very good. Unfortunately the breakfast sandwich I ordered was the worst I’ve ever had. The sausage was so over-nuked that the over-easy egg yolk ran off of it like the hockey puck it was and all over my plate. The only reason I knew they for sure microwaved my sandwich was because the lettuce (on a breakfast sandwich?) was wilted beyond belief and soggy.
