5 stars because I prefer this Safeway to the other Safeway in Mclean, which is in Chesterbrook. Very friendly and helpful deli staff. One deli area staff offered to microwave the cold cooked fried chicken from the pre-prepared and refrigerated pre-packaged area for me! wow! Flu shot was fast and efficient.

I love this particular Safeway because it is always neat clean and extremely organized. The reason that they did not get 5 stars is because it seemed most of the time they do not have enough cashiers to check you out. Also when the alcohol wipes at the doors run out please replace them

It is a well stocked market with lots of variety and really friendly staff (esp Matilda in the flower section!). The wine selection is surprisingly strong for a Safeway

I went there just to get Starbucks. They didn't have anymore matcha there, but good service regardless. Large varieties of foods in the Safeway itself.

Great store. They have a full selection of your basic foods, including fruits and vegetables, bread, dairy, dried goods, and sweets. There is also a Starbucks inside. Lighting and general atmosphere are casual and set a pleasant mood. Cashiers are friendly but not over the top. The store is never crowded, and youre guaranteed to find a parking space in the outside parking lot. Overall, a pleasant grocery store.

It's a nice market but it's missing some things, like fresh basil. I go here when I don't feel like driving across town to Giant for whatever reason.

It's a shame I have to travel thirty miles to find a Safeway that is good. Had a hard time navigating inside aisles didn't make sense. Not for that would have given 5 stars

Paula, is by far the greatest Florist. FTD messed up my order on Valentines Day and not only did she fix their problem she delivered the roses on her own time. Wish the world had more folks like her. Thanks Paula. Jim K
