The team at Gather will care about you, your event, and work with you to create a wonderful memory to last you a lifetime. Twice a year we are able to host an all-abilities social night at Gather in Downtown McKinney. This night is full of fun, dancing, smiles, and energy that is hard to describe as anything other than magical. The team at Gather allows us to have this event as a way to engage with the community and give a social opportunity for individuals with disabilities. We are so thankful to know Darrell and Jill not only as amazing business owners, but as amazing neighbors always willing to lend a hand. Darrell helped us move the heaviest bookcases imaginable and still gives me a hug hello every time I see him. When I tell you this couple will give your their best- I mean it. They are amazing at what they do, and they love this community so much. Darrell and Jill and the Gather crew are nothing short of extraordinary and the epitome of southern hospitality. Our wedding venue was shutdown 1 week before our wedding and Gather welcomed us in with open arms. They were flexible, accommodating, and were a calming force in what was otherwise a very stressful situation. They ensured our event was nothing short of perfect and helped us re-plan a wedding in a week. It’s clear that Darrell and Jill and have poured their hearts into this space and it is the perfect place to host a wedding or any other event. It is full of charm and is a beautifully decorated and maintained space. I would (and will) recommend Gather over and over again to anyone who asks!!!

As a wedding planner, I HIGHLY recommend this venue. My couples first venue fell through A WEEK before their wedding date and by the grace of God, Gather had an open date on their wedding day. Jill and Darrell were so kind and flexible with us while we planned a new wedding in a week. Day of they were phenomenal- so hands on and willing to help with whatever we needed. I was at ease all day knowing I can trust them. The day went off without a hitch and was beyond smooth. Again, I highly recommend Gather.

My daughter had her wedding at Gather in February of 2021, during Covid, and it was absolutely the most perfect wedding and reception that we could have hoped for. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and intimate. It's clear as soon as you tour it that a lot of thought was put into the layout of this charming building, from the incredible brick wall to the chandeliers, the candle wall, the entire bright open space. Jennifer, the owner, made us feel at home and completely at ease through the entire planning process and we never felt a moment of stress. She coordinated everything from the delivery of our charcuterie board in the bridal suite to the tiniest details of the wedding and reception. You can tell that Gather is a labor of love for Jennifer and her entire staff. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't be happier that our daughter's big day was celebrated at Gather.

I could give this 10 stars! From the first day we toured the venue, till the day of our wedding, Darrell and Jill have been there every step of the way. Our wedding was a little bit “non-traditional”, with some different ideas we had in mind. Darrell and Jill collaborated and helped us put our ideas into motion. Both went above and beyond to make our wedding unique and exceeded our expectations by a million. Our guest are still mentioning how attentive the staff was and how Darrell was extremely professional, yet personable. Which is hard to find someone so genuine! Rehearsal dinner perfection! I wish I could give this rating SIX stars instead of five because they surpassed in every way. The food was amazing, the setting was warm, inviting, beautiful! Sophisticated and rustic blended! Darrell, Jill and Donna were a step ahead of us at every turn. They accommodated our every request and anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. Professional and personal! I would recommend Gather in Downtown McKinney for ANY event. Ours happened to be a rehearsal dinner for 80. . . but they could handle anything, large or small. Gather in Downtown McKinney is a 10/10 wedding venue. From the beautiful building itself, to the bridal suite, to the amazing wedding coordinator, Jennifer, this is the BEST place to have a wedding reception and/or ceremony! I was a stress free bride thanks to the amazing staff that helped coordinate with the vendors to ensure my wedding day was perfect!
