The food here is incredible! If you like sandwiches, this is the place for you. The prices aren't cheap, bit it's definitely worth the money. The staff are super helpful and nice and the atmosphere is really good too. They also have Dublin bottled sodas which was a huge plus! This was my first time here but you can bet I'll be back to try more things.

Ok, first time at the Butcher Board for some sandwiches - LOVED it! I ordered the Whole Hog - pulled pork, honey glazed ham AND bacon - seriously! My son ordered the Club. Both were outstanding. Want to go back and try the Texas Cuban, the Smoked Brisket and the Meatball Loaf. The sides were great - you can get chips, potato salad, pasta salad or coleslaw - I got the coleslaw and it was really good. They also have some good looking tacos and a chili dog...plus, the cookies are incredible! Great place - you have to try it if you're nearby!

We were tired of waiting for space in one of the square’s restaurants so we wandered down to Butcher Board and we are so glad we did! The line moved quickly and the tacos were incredibly delicious. My family from out of state felt like they were eating at a “real Texan” restaurant. Not sure what that means but they loved it. Next time I’m in McKinney I won’t waste time with those other restaurants so that I can come here. The meat was fantastic.

Was too Interested in the food to take a picture we've been curious about this place we walked by on memorial day and said that we had to try them. So to the food. We ordered the #7 "Butcher Board Club" it's a smoked, ham, turkey, bacon, Swiss, tomato "John's greens" (arugula mix) with a jalapeño mayo and a side of pasta salad. The sandwich was pretty damn great and I am a sandwich guy its not too spicy but it has a nice light jalapeño spice to it, the ham and turkey were delicious and smoked but not too smokey and succulent. We alsohad the #2 "Whole Hog" it's a pulled pork, smoked ham, bacon, Swiss topped with a BBQ mayo. This was very moist smokey and flavorful the bread for both seemed like a nice soft ciabatta but toasted perfectly to where it had that perfect toasted top, bottom and the inside of the bread itself. The sides that we chose were potato salad and pasta salad. The potato salad was good with fresh dill. The pasta salad was my only thing I didn't favor because it seemed a bit lacking in flavor it was full of peas corn shallots and what seemed to be green chili's that were either in the steamer too long or canned. I give this place 4.9 stars only because of the pasta salad but it was an amazing meal all around that I wasn't expecting. Very artisan. I will definitely come back.

Wow!! This place was amazing. We walked in and right away a gentleman, who we later leaned was Max gave us a sample of brisket that was amazing. He went to on explain the menu and give us some suggestions on what to get. I got the club with pimento cheese and my husband got the brisket sandwich. The food was out of this world. We also ordered an ice cream sandwich for dessert that came between between two of their homemade cookies. 😳 so good!! Max came back over to talk to us while we ate. He was just so awesome and even brought us a sample of their amazing cold brew coffee. We were super impressed with this place and we will certainly be back soon.

Great sandwich - sub-par service... the female manager on duty was actually kinda rude. Love the ambience. Cool, industrial vibes in a wide open space. It was my first time and I wasn't sure where to go... but I figured it out via another customer, not the staff. I ordered the grilled veggie sandwich - really tasty and ready super quick. Parking can be a challenge. Located in a great part of town. Good choice for lunch.
