We were touring Big Sandy for Bloody Marys... This place has the saddest ones. The inside is fine, the food is fine, the staff is friendly... But the Bloody Marys are just plain bad.

Went to the bar they have on site, sat down at a table and just wanted drinks, the server (I believe she was the owner) asked if we were eating,we stated we just want drinks, she said then you can go up to the bar and order, so up to the bar we went, the bartender (a young blonde gal) was not friendly at all it seemed like she didn't like her job whatever her problem was she was not a happy camper, I will not go back there again I'll take my business elsewhere

I'm sure that it's great for seasonal campers, and I'll grant that the spaces are large. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend it for over nights. Our first spot was right on 65, lots of highway noise. No running water, no sewer. Not even a picnic table or fire pit, and 20 amp service. After we explained that we have a 24' travel trailer, and not a pup tent, they gave us the spot next to it. That at least had 30 amp service, a fire pit and picnic table. Oh and you'll need a LONG extension cord, the power boxes are at the FRONT of the spaces. The owners are super nice, and tried to be as accommodating, as they could, even providing us with a heavy duty extension cord, but for what you get, the spots are over priced. Edited to say thank you to the owners for replying. I hated not being able to give an excellent review. We really do appreciate that you loaned us the extension cord. If I may, I'd like to suggest you have 20, 30 and 50 amp service at each site, since you're changing them anyway. Then there is never a question of which lot has what service.
