Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut used to be the pizza joint to sit and make amazing memories over amazing pizza, with amazing service. This is the 2nd Pizza Hut, locally, that we have visited in 1 month. Just like the other one, service was scarce. We had to get up and ask for refills, and our meal was not as we ordered. Pineapple was supposed to be on a little bit of 1 pizza, they placed it on the entire pizza. The other pizza was missing cheese on a lot of pieces. The wings tasted freezer-burnt. Rhe wings had a little bit of sauce drizzled over the wings, leaving most of them dry. They redid one of the pizzas, but we had already filled up on the substandard wings, good pasta, and breadsticks.

They made my order to perfection. I have no complaints about this location. Everyone is so nice. I did wish there was a cancel order option online. I accidentally ordered from the wrong location first because it changed my preferred location and it was a mess, calling and getting through the answer machine and then an employee to cancel the order.

Now the 3 star rating is because they charged me over $22.00 for 12 wings, which comes out to almost about $2 wing. At the local supermarket here in RGV, you can get a pack of about 30 wings for $22.00, which comes out to about 75cents a wing. Now I know that there is no way in hell Pizza Hut, is paying that much per wing, they buy it in bulk from the cheapest distributor there is, chance are they are getting it at about 10 cents a wing, according to a buddy who works in the poultry industry. So they have a a ridiculous mark up on these. A large 1/2 & 1/2 speciality pizza cost less than the wings. Not to mentioned they aren't breaded or flavored, just thrown in a deep fryer and sauced sprayed all over. I they were okay at best, nothing amazing, but i xan say with all honesty, they were a rip off, and definitely not worth the money. Everything else was fine and the servers were nice too.

We got some wings and they charge us extra for ranch! We ask for a pan pizza and they charge us extra 👎🏽 Come on management, remember peter piper pizza get you all that without the extra charge, yeah you will say why didn’t we went to PPP,,, because we didn’t know Pizza Hut will charge extra on simple stuff, hello - customer service—-
