Mi Taco Poncho's

This is great Tex-Mex comfort food. You want some great fajitas? I think this place fits that bill. The four star review is basically on the price, which is fair for SATX, but in the Valley, it’s a little steeper than other places. It’s going to feed you like you have a stomach cavity that has a need of calories. So if you want solid selections, yes, you are going to be happy with this place. If you are looking for a bargain five star meal, no, move along. Great venue, made fresh, you will not be wanting anything more when you leave.

Stopped by for breakfast tacos but was kinda disappointed. I ordered a potato and egg taco and my wife had a bacon and egg taco. Both tacos were mostly egg and the egg in each was a little overcooked. The best part of the meal was the chips, salsas and coffee. The corn chips were warm and they also had whole toasted flour tortillas. The salsas were all fresh and tasty. I was really intrigued by the habanero salsa which was hot but had undertones of mexican chocolate....I think. Someone try it out and let me know what you think. The coffee was hot, strong and flavorful. I'll probably go back in hopes that they'll redeem themselves.
