The chicken strips are my favorite they are delicious, perfectly cooked. I’ve had the fried chicken which was pretty good, too much coating. The catfish was thin flat, not much fish inside of coating, not much taste to it, fairly bland, a flat pancake like Fish fillet, will not purchase again.
When you order the fish they cook it fresh takes 10 minutes don’t expect to drive through and get your food fast if you want the catfish fillet. However, the chicken strips I will buy again!

What is the rule for SPICY chicken? Asking, cuz I had church's yesterday and you can SEE the spice beneath the crust. I ordered strips from GC and it appears ANY strips can become SPICY. Just powder the hell out of it with either paprika/ cayenne or both! The strips taste GOOD, but their method of adding heat can be unpalatable. Dry powder in the back of your throat not good.

I love the food, if I can ever get it. I placed my order 20 minutes ago and I’m sitting here waiting for the 2 kids behind the counter to stop screwing around and put some chicken on a plate. They keep ignoring dine in customers to drop everything and prepare grubhub orders. I feel stupid for trying to actually eat here, should have ordered online and screw them over

I love the food. But sometimes its random. 1 time chicken was too salty. But out of many times this was a 1 time occurrence.
However today 2-24-22
Waited 32 minutes for last meal of the night. It was only a 6 piece golden tender combo with dirty rice. Seems very unacceptable

Edit: curbside orders are ignored. I've called the number 4 times and the line never gets picked up. Food is good but service went down really quickly. Disappointing. Our orders have still been correct but this location really needs to work on their customer service and management. There used to be a man working at this location that always seemed really helpful but haven't seen him lately.
Lunch is slow but staff is really nice. Ordering ahead helps. Overall I do really like this location, food has always been good so far and our orders have yet to be incorrect.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Sent my daughter in at 10:00pm to go inside and order inside since the drive through line was too long. The business hours on the door say they are open until 11:00pm, there should be no reason not to take her order. She went inside and was not acknowledged at all despite there being a handful of workers there. She stood there for about 10 minutes with no one taking her order and after awhile of being ignored, we decided to go to the drive through instead, since that's where all the attention was being pointed towards. We ended up waiting 30 minutes in the drive through line....before we even got the chance to order. Terrible service.

Golden Chick is one of my favorite places to get golden chicken tenders. Their restaurant is always remarkably clean, their employees are very helpful and friendly, and their chicken and sides are always cooked to perfection and is always very tasty too.
