Subway

I'm posting this review for educational purposes only. Nothing against this location. They've provided a good experience in the past but thought they could use this for train their staff in flow processes as well as how to handle situations when they arise. Customer service skills are lacking. Here's the situation: I showed up at the drive thru at approximately 8:50. I placed my order at the touch screen kiosk and then pulled forward to the pick up window. Sat at the pick up window for approximately 8 minutes. Realized that no one was coming to the window so I backed up and walked in the front door and asked, "I placed my order and have been sitting at the pick up window for maybe 5+ minutes. No one came to take payment so I was curious if you got my order?" She responded, "We've had some problems with our drive thru and we close at 9:00?" It was exactly 9:00 PM when she made that statement as the clock on the wall indicated. So I asked her if I could place my order inside. She stated, "We close at 9:00" I just left and when to another organization. Just food for thought. (No pun intended) :-) This could have been handled differently. Example: "I'm sorry about your inconvenience. We have had some issues with our drive up window kiosk. I can take your order if that's ok? It's not hard to turn a situation to a positive. You just have to want to help/serve your customers, not make excuses.

When I visited it appeared that there were 2 trainees and 1 employee with experience. He was so good, and so professional that I specifically got his name. Nick was truly a sandwich artist and kept that place flowing flawlessly. In spite of a big order in front of me, I was served quickly and my order was perfect. Thank you Nick, you were very impressive.

We were out of town for soccer today and stopped in at this location. The employees didn't have name tags so I had to ask their names. Daniel and Dez were a bright spot in our day. They were kind, thoughtful, and engaging. They took pride in their jobs and had fun doing it. They made us great sandwiches and we even got to talk to them for a while during a slow time. The manager here should count their blessings to have the two young men before they move on to bigger and better things.
