Starbucks

This Starbucks is clearly closed before its closing time, or might as well be. I went in to get a coffee around 7:20 PM. Closing time was supposedly 8 PM. The person working there was overtly polite, but it was obvious she had already checked out. She was back in the shadows out of sight, seemingly hoping people would think the shop was closed. I tried to make it easy asking for a brewed Pike (and that was really all I wanted), but they were "out". I am not sure if the supply was out, or if she simply did not want to brew any more. She said a Dark Roast was all she had available that was brewed. That was OK as that's my preference anyway (they usually don't have it that late). But that easily turned out to be the worst coffee I've ever had from Starbucks, and undoubtedly in the lower one percentile of any coffee I've ever tasted. I'm not sure how long it had set, but I'd say it was easily three hours or more. It was an extraordinary experience in bad coffee. I appreciated the ability to get a coffee at that time in the evening, but if they aren't going to do it right and they can't find people who at least don't mind being there, then just close earlier.
