Cafe Marie

First time here. The food and coffee were great. The service was a bit off today starting with no silverware and then everyone getting food around us while we still waited. It seemed to be pretty quick for others though. They came in and had food very quickly. Makes me wonder if our order got lost? Hopefully next time things will go better. Overall, the food was very good and the atmosphere was friendly.

From start to finish everything was fantastic. The quick service , fresh coffee and pitcher of lemon infused water at our table, the omelette was the best omelette I’ve ever had. Eggs were cooked perfect, great toast, and thick sausages. We would definitely recommend. You will pay a little more than the average breakfast place but you will get what you pay for.

First time eating here. It is a very well laid out place, sectioned off in semi-private areas of 3 to 4 tables each. I like that. It made the meal quieter and more enjoyable. I went early around 7:30 AM on a Wednesday and people started coming in pretty steady. The sectioned off areas cut down on the noise. The place is very clean and well maintained. It had ambient music playing from ceiling speakers at a nice low level. I would have loved to have seen a couple flat panel t.v's on the walls with the news playing in closed caption. My food was tasty and very well prepared. I ordered an omelette with spinach, portobello mushrooms and swiss cheese. It was served with fresh fruit and warm salsa along with thick sliced honey wheat toast. All of their bread choices were of premium thick sliced consistency. Very nice touch. I ordered coffee and it came in a plastic and stainless carafe. They brought an open carafe of ice water with lemon slices in it as well. Again, a nice touch. I was very impressed with the attention to detail here. Everything from the heavy gauge matching silverware wraped in a sealed napkin to the wide variety of jellys and jams at the table including apple butter to the premium coffee creamers on every table. The meal prices were pretty acceptable, but I did not like paying $2.29 for my coffee considering it cost pennies per cup to make. Seemed a bit excessive. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the restaurant and would definitely recommend it.

I just left there without even eating. The boy at the host counter never acknowledged me, I was standing directly in his face waiting for a greeting or something and other people were walking in behind me and I saw he was about to greet them so I interjected and said "do u want my name?" And he said "oh yeah how many and what's the name" I felt this was very rude, and my mood changed quickly and we decided not even to eat in a place that treated people this way. Wish I would have got the boys name but he's Caucasian tall, slim brown hair with glasses. Young kid maybe still in highschool. He knows who he is. You guys need to do better, thanx for nothing I won't be back! Wish I could give it zero stars but it won't post unless I give at least 1. Zero stars!

Let me start by saying Marty was our server two days in a row and he was wonderful. The portions are large and the food very tasty. I dare to say these are the best pancakes I have had in any franchise restaurant. The environment was very clean and the staff very pleasant. I certainly look forward to stopping in again on future visits.
