I just want to start by saying I have been going to this place for many years with my family. If you have children this is the place to go for dinner and dessert. They might have the best ice cream in Long Island. They also have amazing staff that will make you feel like home. Go down and try it yourself, I promise you won't regret it, best sundae you'll ever have. I also had the chicken buffalo wrap with waffle fries, mmm amazing.
ANOTHER successful lunch out! 5 friends and I arrived at the height of the lunch rush, but it was fun watching the little children and families enjoying their lunches amid the displays of toys and candies. Service is always prompt, so once a booth for 6 was available, we were sat, orders taken and served. It is also good to note that cash payments are welcomed with the percentage charged for credit card payments deducted from the total, so save that 3% and bring cash. It is very much appreciated. P.S. Their own chocolates and other candies are as fine as their ice creams and sherbets!!
Went in for an ice cream cone with my kid and the owner himself was working behind the counter. Great guy, we talked about his military service, very impressive. You know a good restaurant when even the owner is enjoying the ice cream! He even added extra sprinkles after already starting to eat his ice cream cone! Love this place as it clearly has a piece of the owner In everything they make!
We come on Fridays before busy dinner times . I have an autistic child and we are always treated with such kindness here . My son l loves it here and will request it on a daily basis if we are going. For ice cream. We love the mint chocolate chip ice cream and chicken Patty melts !! ( shout out to the female waitress who works around 5 om on Fridays - the best )
Easy to see right off of Central Ave servicing Massapequa and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. A throwback to 1950's style dining. Family friendly and nice staff. Homemade Ice Cream with many Sundae Choices. Large portions. We will definitely be going back.
This has been my favorite place for ice cream and any kind of food for a long time! Every time I am here I have a really great experience! The owner and the staff are all very welcoming and nice. Their coffee ice cream with their HOMEMADE whipped cream is my favorite!! Will always recommend
A hidden gem. Terrific service from the whole staff. The waiter was attentive and the food was excellent. I had the round up wrap with tator tots. Ice cream is great. You pay for quality. It is apparently homemade, in house and its reputation speaks for itself. Will definitely be back for more.
Took me a few tries to figure out what I liked here, but my parents loved it immediately. You can tell it has kept its charm through the years. My parents will keep going back for the ice cream sodas alone. The cheeseburger is flavorful and the tater tots are the best tater tots ever. The chocolate ice cream is smooth and creamy and you won’t find it like this elsewhere. I appreciate that the sundae portions are so generous. However, the chocolate chips in the chocolate choc chip ice cream are really just chopped pieces of chocolate, which sounds good except it’s not chopped small enough so you end up with a whole block of chocolate on your spoon instead of the delicious ice cream. If that’s what you like, go for it, but I would have preferred if it was cut up smaller. We’ll definitely be coming back soon.
The ice cream here is fantastic. The place is small and the food here is so good and the servers are friendly. The atmosphere is superb! Will definitely be back!!
The ice cream and the food is amazing. It's also kid friendly with all the amazing candy and toys they have for them. Definitely would be coming here again
