This a family own joint, which has a friendly atmosphere. It's open 7 days a week. A great place for breakfast or lunch, even dinner. This was one of my late wife's favorite places to get a quick bite. Enjoy

Friendly neighborhood diner with good food and great coffee. No parking lot so you will have to find a meter on the street. Business was always good but has recently boomed after the closure of other local diners. Sometimes there’s a long wait for a table.

The absolute best diner in the City of New York. Delicious gourmet food, outstanding coffee and excellent staff and service. No need to go anywhere else for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. Reasonable prices. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

I gave this place 4 stars because my husband and I really enjoy their breakfast. I took one star off because They are not real friendly. To charge $30 for a breakfast for 2 is a lot of money in my estimation on my husband and I had been going there for well over 5 years almost every Sunday to the day before I moved. The woman with the glasses who seats you has looked in our faces every single time we've come in and not once has she ever said hello, how are you? Nice to see you again. She's always got an attitude and berates the staff in front of people - and I think that scowl on her face is now permanent!. There's one waitress in their who has black hair that is the sweetest person I've ever met but there's another waitress in there that has funky colored hair that I try to avoid like the plague because and again she is not a friendly person. I would definitely go back for the food - though not the atmosphere.

Ordered the California burger deluxe.It was cooked correctly and tasted great. The fries were very greasy but food overall was good. They offer a rewards program which is cool for a diner. I would go back again.

Table service is excellent. As for prices and food, better then the average. The coffee at Fame is excellent. As any coffee drinker will tell you, a bad cup can ruin your day. Their coffee is always perfect (5 stars)

In my fifty years, I've eaten in the best and worst of just about every type of establishment possible. A diner is always a good 'ol standby.
Fame Diner is a refreshing throwback to the past, mixed with good comfort food of today.
Always a good meal, mixed with pleasant professional service cannot be beat.

Maspeth's own classic diner at its finest. Service was quick and boy is this place bustling with the locals. Price is just like a typical diner's, and in its place you get your comfort food real fast. I always get the meatlovers. Overall a great experience.

Love this place, have been going there for years n never dissapointed. One of the last great diners around the area. Reasonable prices, the early bird dinner specials are good and budget friendly. Great for families, service is great, everyone from the owners to the wait staff are supper friendly, only place I go for breakfast in queens.
