First time visit. Ordered the cheeseburger and fries. Great service. Server was always checking on me. Food was hot and served quickly. The burger was huge and had great taste. To drink I had an unsweetened ice tea, but they do offer some alcohol. Definitely going to visit again.

Best cheeseburger in town and you can't beat the price! Grab a pound of chicken salad to go - it's delicious!

Food was good and price was a little high for the food. Plenty of fries served. This is a great quick lunch stop. Paper plates and plastic cups keep cost down. Wait staff was very proffessional and friendly. I'd go again for work lunch.

Looking over the reviews, it is obvious that most folks love this establishment. Unfortunately, our first impression did not go well at all as our waitress was rather curt, avoided eye contact, and had no introduction – so we have no idea who this individual was by name. Our separate orders of two hamburgers and fries arrived rather quickly (within a very few minutes). We thought at first that they had brought us someone else’s order- (It’s unclear how a burger could be cooked so quickly, but perhaps the kitchen par-cooks/or microwaves them). Unfortunately, our unknown waitress messed up the order, so we had to send one of the plates back for a correction. Another individual, whom we assumed to be a supervisor/manager, brought the corrected plate back with apologies. Burgers were tasty and reminiscent of a standard Sysco/Ruby Tuesday sandwich. Burgers come with chips (or Fries for an upcharge). Crinkle cut fries would have been a nice touch. Checked out the small bar area which is cozy- ~8 barstools with one TV screen and no Keno. We’ll be back for lunch if we’re in the neighborhood.

Saw somewhere that Quatman Cafe had the best cheeseburgers in town. I’m just passing through and can’t compare them to anyone else, but I can tell you the cheeseburger I had with swiss was outstanding. I’m sad I’m not around here more often so I could come here again. The burger and drink prices are easily affordable. I could get the burger, chips and draught beer for under $10. We sat outside and it was pleasant.

★★★★☆ Food quality ★★★★☆ Service ★★★★★ Ambiance ★★★★★ Value ★★★★☆ Menu selection ★★★☆☆ Location/Accessibility ★★★★☆ Overall experience After a long and tiring hiking trip, I found myself craving a classic American hamburger. As luck would have it, I was in the vicinity of the popular Quatman Café, a restaurant that has garnered a reputation for its family-friendly, small-town vibe. Eager to satisfy my hunger, I decided to give it a try. Upon arriving, I noticed that the parking lot was small and shared by two other businesses. Nevertheless, I managed to find a vacant spot and made my way inside. As soon as I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped by the delicious aroma of cooking food, which only served to intensify my appetite. The décor was dominated by the patriotic color of red, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. While the lighting was a bit dim due to the lack of natural and artificial sources, the space was cozy, with enough tables and booths to accommodate a few dozen patrons at once. The counter and restrooms were located at the back of the restaurant, far from the entrance, and there was a small bar in a separate room that appeared to be closed at the time of my visit. As I surveyed the scene, I couldn't help but notice that all the customers were white and dining in groups. Though I initially felt a bit intimidated, given the stories I had heard, I quickly dismissed the thought and made my way towards the counter. However, I was stopped by a male staff member, seemingly the chef, and asked if I was a customer. After confirming my status, he instructed me to take a seat and wait for the waitress to take my order. I complied and chose a booth near the entrance. The waitress was prompt in taking my order, and I requested a half-pound burger with tomato, onion, and pickles, minus the cheese. I also ordered a side of shoestring fries and a can of diet coke. Before I could even request the burger sans cheese, the waitress informed me that it was not included in the recipe, which made me chuckle as though she had read my mind. When my order arrived, I found that the burger components were not assembled, and I had to put them together myself. While this might be a hassle for some, I found it rather amusing, much like playing with a Lego set. The condiments, utensils, and napkins were located on the side of the table, which I found a bit unusual. As I took my first bite, I noticed that the buns were not warm and toasted, which could be a minor annoyance for some. Additionally, the patty felt a bit lukewarm and not freshly cooked, as if it had been reheated. The vegetables were cold to the touch, which caused the burger to lose heat rapidly. However, despite these setbacks, the taste was amazing. In fact, it might just be the best hamburger I've ever had. It was as if the burger was meant to be eaten at this very spot, at this precise moment, with these exact people, as if the universe had altered the rules of gastronomy just before I took my first bite. The flavor was mild, which allowed the taste of the patty to shine, even though it was relatively plain. The patty itself did not have a strong beefy flavor, indicating that it might have been made from mixed ground meat. The pickles were homemade and less tangy than the canned version, which I appreciated. They were also crispy and crunchy. The shoestring fries were hot and had a crispy skin yet soft texture, which paired well with the ketchup. The chef was generous in his portion size, which I enjoyed. As for the diet coke, it had a lighter flavor than the regular version, which allowed me to savor the taste of the burger. While the service I received was efficient, I sensed a hint of tension among the staff, likely due to the demands of a busy day and limited personnel. Despite this, my experience was pleasant and above average. Although I wouldn't describe it as a remarkable experience, it was undoubtedly satisfying. This café has left a positive impression on me, and I recommend it to those in search of a satisfying, no-fuss meal.

I loved this cafe, I've been. back multiple times. It has a very classic feel, with not much server interaction, which I enjoy. I don't like being bombarded with "how's your meal? would you like to hear our desert options?" they just take your order, bring you it, and you pay yourself at the front. My favorite type of restaurant experience. Food was really good. I've had multiple things there but they all were of great quality and great taste. Lovely place for families and singles!

Great burger, 🍟 fries, beer and quaint lunch venue! Friendly staff and THE HAMBURGER TASTED LIKE A REAL BURGER! we are not fat fried people so we can't speak about that! Salads went by however we didn't buy. Fun outside seating that's not on the street! Shade from trees and if you wish by an umbrella. Inside is dinner like and the bar is comfortable! Juicy, tastie and fun!

Kids meal great choice if you can't handle the bigger burger just as big. Small quaint. Inside seating or outside patio and even have a bar table service

Been going to Quatmans in Norwood for a long time and always liked it, was in Mason and tried it. It's just as awesome as I'd assumed, tasted just like Norwood location. Great food, nice family friendly atmosphere, and good prices. I'll definitely be back when ever I'm in the area.
