Polar Cave Ice Cream Parlour

Polar Cave was an awesome surprise. At one point I said "this should not be this good," mostly because the setting waivers between kitschy and cute. It's not a high-priced boutique option, but the ice cream itself is outstanding. There's a bunch of unique flavors and they are not simply different shades of candy mashups. We tried a few options and they all worked. "Mashpee Mud" was great. It's surprising to have coffee featured in such a popular option.

I have loved Polar Cave ever since I was a little girl. Mark always has a smile on his face and I always order a “weird” combo chocolate chip mint and cotton candy ice cream. It’s my absolute favorite and I highly recommend this ice cream place! The staff are so friendly and I always enjoy smelling the waffle cones!

Nice ambience, lots of flavours, and fun to see a family run establishment. Really nice that they make fresh waffle cones and bowls. I ordered a waffle bowl five scoop specialty, but it was a half-soup when I got it, due to the heat of the fresh waffle bowl, and quickly melted while we tried to eat it. The ice cream tasted fine, though not particularly noteworthy. The whipped cream seemed a bit soft, and added to the soupy feel. The waffle tasted bland and neutral. Overall, I thought it was fine, but a far cry from my favorite ice cream parlors.

We had an amazing experience here today and will definitely be back! We have a child with celiac disease. They washed their hands before starting his cone, opened a brand new tub of ice cream, had a gluten-free waffle cone for him and used a dedicated scoop to get the ice cream into the cone. They took every precaution to avoid cross-contamination and it made for a wonderful and safe experience for my son. Thanks so much ❤️

Our favorite ice cream place in America. I've had ice cream all over the country. This place is my personal favorite since living here for a year. It starts when you walk in and you get a whiff of the staff making fresh waffle cones and bowls. They have it decked out with Coca-Cola memorabilia, and it totally fits the vibe. We eat here at least once a week, and during the summer- sometimes 2 or 3. This time I finally got pictures of our tiramisu sundae and four-c's sundae. It's a great family business, and you won't be disappointed if you get their amazing ice cream pies to-go either.
