The Chocolate Rose

We called Sunday morning about 10 am inquiring about the sticky buns. We were notified, politely, that the last had just sold up front however the clerk would check in the back for more. A short time later the young lady came to the phone again stating they were indeed out. However, after a quick “over the shoulder” conversation with the baker we were told if we can wait, they’d make more. Two hours later, the pictures only partly do it justice. The whole car smelled like buttery heaven. Do yourself a favor and get a sticky bun or six!

First visit. Certainly won’t be my last. Stopped in last minute for treats to bring to dinner at a friend’s place. Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. Purchased several specialty mousse cakes and cookies. All were excellent, the mousse cakes were sublime! Perhaps the lightest mousse and cake I’ve ever enjoyed. Raves from all at dinner. Highly recommended.

So glad we chose chocolate rose for our baby shower cake ❤️ it came out so perfectly, beyond what I was hoping for & they have so many flavors which is a huge reason why we went with them. We got 3 different flavors for our cake & everyone loved all of them! Really made my shower so much more special to have such a beautiful cake!

First and foremost I love our choices we grabbed. The Bog Frogs (cranberries, carmel and chocolate... All wrapped together) were blissful, the vanilla bean cheesecake was exceptional and lastly the lemon cannoli was great... But all were secondary in comparison to the owners. We are traveling through and were just mentioning we had to pull a u-turn to try their place out. They were sympathetic of the idea but honestly it was a blast (rental car... You understand)... So, they spend 10-15 minutes giving us tips and tricks for our stay in the area. Traffic information and awesome little gems to consider while we were here. This little bakery tucked in a corner is a must visit.

Vanessa made the cake for our wedding on a very short deadline and it was amazing! It looked beautiful and it tasted even better! She was so great to work with - we wanted flowers on the outside of the cake so she arrived early (after coordinating with our florist) to place them before the ceremony began! HIGHLY recommend!!
