I absolutely love Mohegan, especially the Sky Tower Hotel! It is absolutely stunning! The decor in the whole casino and hotel is top tear! They have spotless rooms with gorgeous views, amazing bathrooms/showers. They have a spa,pool, and jacuzzi in the hotel that I LOVE! Lastly, the room service is actually delicious, comes hot, fast, and they are always so friendly! I will forever be a Mohegan girl! 😍
I did not stay at the hotel, so I cannot speak to that aspect. However, I did visit the casino, shops, and restaurant. The overall experience was ok. The interior has unique and beautiful decor. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and games to choose from. I was surprised to see as many children as late in the evening as it was. Or restaurant experience was good, but for a burger bun so dry, it was inedible. Staff, in general, were difficult to find. We sat and played for an hour without a server in sight.
It was my first time there and I loved it. The Tuscany Italian Restaurant made the best Tiramusu 👌. The Sports Bar was enjoyable. The only regret was Valet Parking. The attendant parked our vehicle in the rain. He did not see a problem with. When I asked about it he blew me off. Instead of causing a scene he didn't receive a tip. This is why I rated Service with 2-Stars.
My husband and I came here from Philly to see a Tool concert in the arena. It was beautiful and super convenient. The hotel rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished. Beautiful view of the river from our windows. It was a short distance to the arena from our room and where the stores and restaurants are. We had fun at the casino, too, but I was really impressed with the architecture, art sculptures, waterfall, mosaic glass lights, mohageny arches, and sculptures. The Italian restaurant looked like an old world Catholic church, which added a classy, elegant, and creepy vibe. I loved everything about this place, and I can't wait to go back!
This venue is excellent. Not a bad seat in the house. Easy to get there from most places in CT and MA.
Overnight accommodations are pricy unless you are gamble then maybe you are comped for the evening.
The arena gives a feel of a larger one. An overall good place for concerts!
My boyfriend got me tickets to Tool at Mohegan for my birthday. I definitely recommend seeing a concert here. Great sound and small enough so you can actually see the stage. The light show was impressive too!
Next time we will add extra time for traffic... There is no way around all the traffic.
I've traveled all over the US. I have seen a lot of casinos. This may be the cleanest one. Very friendly and frequent staff all over the floor to the restaurants to the management in the floor. I stopped and tested them for customer service situations, and they did great. It's very spacious and has all kinds of slots, especially new ones. This is setup great and has a good layout. Food options are very put together and open late. The shops are nice add as well as the waterfalls and decor. It's very well lit up and has great photos opportunities everywhere. Parking was probably the one negative thing I had. Nothing is perfect, but this is definitely a real deal, and I see why it wins awards. The slots seem to be lost and tight at the same time. It's probably just a preference. I would totally come back every time I'm on the East Coast. 5 stars, this is a real review. Not plugged for attention or advertisements l.
It's like being in the biosphere. For two and one-half days we were in an exciting, visually compelling environment devoted to our fun and pleasure. Clean, safe fun (if you can afford it).
Classy casino with excellent restaurants and a huge variety of slots (I don't play any other games, but they appear well managed. There is also a very nice pool and an excellent spa. And the fire pit area is lovely at night.
Came here for the first time for a concert. Everything is self-contained and easy to navigate. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and wide variety of restaurants. The casinos were very nice. Very convenient.
