Come N Git It

WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS! If you want down home, old fashioned, home made food, this is the place! Jackie runs a tight ship with a loyal and hard working staff. Going out to eat is something I have grown to be very lukewarm about.... EXCEPT about Come-N-Git it! When a restaurant says homemade, I don't want gravy from a mix, and here everything is MADE FROM SCRATCH, including 25 gallons of gravy a day! There are no preformed beef patties, or fast and easy mixes used here. All the times I've been in, never saw anything that wasn't SPOTLESS clean, food is always great, service is tops, portions are always the same. If the costs goes up, portions and quality stay the same. Do you get the idea that this place is a favorite of mine.

I just had the absolute BEST burger I have had in years! I realized what beef should taste like in a burger, and it was delicious. I can't wait to get another one 🤣. The sides were excellent, but that burger tasted like burgers from my childhood. I'm 65 now, and have had a lot of burgers in my time. Hands down one of the top 3 in my life!

It’s not too often that I get to do a review that invokes genuine excitement about being able to do this job. It’s not too often that I get to do a review that invokes genuine excitement about being able to do this, but when you come across a place that people need to hear about people need to experience it makes this worthwhile. This place has a nostalgic touch and a genuine down-home vibe. The only thing that impressed me more than the flawless food was the customer service. The server (Bailie) Was there to offer some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. She was filling my cup up as it emptied and brought my food to my table heart and propped. This place is it true slice of southern Indiana haven’t. If you haven’t experienced this place you NEED too. You can count my word that you won’t regret it. Come in And give Jackie a visit, she’s ready to give you an amazing culinary experience. She may live a simple life but there’s nothing dull about this place.

We saw it was rated high on Google and decided to swing by. The food came out of the kitchen hot and fast. The shrimp was sweet. The catfish was flakey. The potatoes tasted like the ones you get at the fair. I could not stop eating the fried onions. The batter was awesome. It tasted just like how I make fried onions at home. Come N Git It was a sweet little find in Martinsville and I recommend y'all stop and visit if you're passing through sometime.
