Wow!!! Who would have ever thought that an awesome place with authentic Indian Food would be tucked away in a corner of a shopping center in Martinsburg! Ok, so first off- when we walked in it smelled AHHHMMMAAZZZIIINNNGGGG. It was lunch time on a busy Sunday and we sat ourselves. A smiling bright beautiful young lady came over and greeted us, got us some drinks and thanked us for coming in. She explained the vegan options on the buffet and welcomed us to order from the menu or eat from the buffet, or do both! On the buffet there were 5 vegan options!! Wow!! Fantastic veggie fried fritter things that I wanted to eat until I couldn't anymore- OMG they are DELICIOUS fried pillows of greed inducing binge worthy note!! Ok, moving on, the basmati rice is deliciously spiced and freshly steamed- no grease or butter!! Yay!! Ok- then there was a curry lentil stew, DELICIOUS, ... followed by FRIED OKRA- which was 2 plate worthy and then a dish with these baked spiced tiny potatoes that had these chipotle peppers and tons of yummy spices in!! So, we're Vegan now which has been quite the dining challenge and this place hands down knocked it out of the park!! There was a younger guy working who was also a vegan who totally got it- set us up with Whole Wheat Roti instead of naan and was just spot on filling our drinks. The dipping sauces were awesome, the hot paste was perfectly spiced and there was a green sauce so good we could drink it and holy cow amazing Indian pickles!! The price was absolutely beyond fair borderline cheap and the atmosphere was fantastic, friendly and living room ish! Totally recommend this place! (All the meat looked delicious too so don't go thinking this is some weird tree hugger only place!)
If you have never been to Spice Connexion, you are effectively missing out on the best restaurant in Berk Co. Not hyperbole; facts.
Freshness: when you taste these authentic dishes, with the menagerie of flavors, so distinct, so delicious. It can only happen by painataking preparation and execution.
Consistency: my order is always exactly the same every time.
Value: i highly recommend (especially for indian food newbies) the lunch Buffett. You get an extraordinary selection for under 12 bucks.
I just picked up my to go order of Aloo Gobi, saag paneer, chix tikka masala, rice, naan, and vegetable samosas. I literally "smh" through my bites because the food is so damn good....
My wife and I consider ourselves to be Indian food connoisseurs. When we travel we always search for the closest Indian restaurant. Spice connection in Martinsburg is one of our favorites. The food is always good. We've ordered multiple things off the menu and have never once been disappointed. They have the best vegetable fritters hands down and the tandoori chicken is AMAZING!
The staff is always extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
The buffet recently reopened. The price is 13.49 per adult Tuesday to Friday and 14.99 on Saturday and Sunday (Sundays buffet has fish and goat). There is usually ten options that vary, with multiple vegan options.
Delicious Indian food. Good service and great food. Nice place tucked away off to the side of a strip mall, don't let the outside fool you!
En Route to Tennessee from Pennsylvania we popped in here for lunch. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff off the bat. We decided to order some Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Biryani, and some Lamb Kebab from the Tandoori.
The Chicken Tikka Masala was solid, but I would have preferred a better sauce to chicken ratio. It made the dish seem like there was less chicken than there should have been. The flavor was on point though.
The Lamb Biryani was exactly what a Biryani should be. The flavors blended excellently and it tasted as though the rice had been held warm with all those aromatics and spices all day long. Great dish.
The Lamb Kebab was the star here though. Cooked absolutely perfectly with a little pink still in the middle and SO much flavor. The meat was very tender and after a few times chewing just began to melt in your mouth. I'd order this every single time I went here.
The food is fresh and very delicious. Very nice interior reflecting the flavors of India used in the food. A must try Indian restaurant in Martinsburg.

Definitely one of my favorite places to eat i. The area. The food here is deeply flavorful and you can choose from 4 levels of heat (mild, Medium, spicy, extra spicy) to suit your needs. I love the saag paneer, chan's masala, chicken Tikka masala, and the chicken saag. Make sure to try the garlic naan bread along with the regular naan bread as well. Healthy, tasty, and fairly priced.
OMG! I LOVE this restaurant. The food is delicious and you can tell they put a lot of effort into it. The waitstaff are so friendly and sweet even when they're busy. We enjoyed the mango lassis, (spicy) Tikka Masada, (mild) butter chicken, garlic Naan, and tandoori drumsticks. Every thing was perfect. It even tasted delicious the next day. Always a good sign. I'm a travel nurse and it'll definitely be on my list of restaurants I'll miss from WV.
Can wholeheartedly say this place deserves a 5/5. The establishment was very clean and beautifully decorated, the chef and staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent. We ordered the palak chaat as an appetizer, malai kofta, saag paneer, and aloo palak as entrees, and garlic naan. The food was definitely as authentic as it gets outside of the Indian subcontinent. You can tell Chef takes pride in his work! Highly recommend.
Their food is so good!! This is our favorite takeout restaurant. Been ordering from them for a while and never once had our order wrong and it’s always fresh. 10/10 recommend
