Yo Sushi

Total hole in the wall sushi joint. But I love this place SO much. The sushi is always good, which is great when it’s fast and cheap! How can you get all 3 at the same time? Rare. They have all the standard rolls, plus the unique versions each sushi place seems to create. Plus you can order & pay online and pick up! Can’t say enough good things.

2 of the veggie rolls fell apart. All 3 of them tasted the same and were not fresh. Served on an old wood board. Agedashi was just short of ok and the tempura sauce tasted kinda like sweet soap. The soda coming out of the Coke labled spout was definitely not Coke! Servers and cashier were very awesome.

This is absolutely my favorite sushi place in Martinez area it's always busy. Which is what I look for in a sushi place because they're serving raw fish and if it's not busy all the time than that fish sits around. The fish here is always extremely fresh the service here is always extremely nice they bring my food out to my car or I wait with my dog. Never complain if I ask for more soy sauce or Ginger or whatever they're very helpful. And the sushi here is there is no comparison so far for me this is the best sushi place in Martinez. Even though it's usually busy it's still very fast my favorite is the lion Prince which does take about 15-20 minutes cuz they have to cook this one but oh boy is it delicious but they all are delicious everything from the sashimi to the sushi, to the teriyaki bowls, which are also very filling. Unlike a lot of sushi places where if you order A Teriyaki bowl they are often very little, and not filling at all. This place gives you a ton of chicken or beef if you order a Teriyaki Bowl and it's only around $7 or $8 for them. That's the other thing the prices at this place are extremely Fair much better than the places where you sit and eat sushi the fancy places. This isn't necessarily a fancy place you can still sit and eat your food here. It's a busy sushi place which is what I always look for. Could never say enough about this place it's my absolute favorite. Now if you like the really fancy expensive sit-down with the train of sushi coming by places it's not one of those. This is a extremely fresh extremely tasty fair-priced sushi place and you can sit down they do have a small sitting area. But when they prepare it's a go it looks just as good as if it's on the plate in front of you so you could do either but there's no little train running around and all that which cost so much more. All the prices here are very fair extremely Fair. try not to let the secret out too much. Have a good lunch you will not regret this place I've lived here 50 years and I know all the good places.
