Applebee's

Would be more stars as the food tastes pretty good and the server was attentive and courteous. The place was pretty clean around lunchtime. My only hold up from giving 4 stars would probably be the price for value are a bit off. While the food was pretty good, it wasn't THAT good at nearly $20 for person's lunch.

We haven't been there lately due to the menu changes but we decided to try again. We were reminded why we don't go. The menu is deceiving. It looks like the listed entrees have two side dishes. The server pointed out I missed the little notation that only one of the entrees listed has two sides, all others get one. Whatever. The entrees my husband and I chose were covered in garlic and mushrooms. We both loathe mushrooms and had no idea we were ordering mushrooms with a side of meat... Our server asked if we wanted dessert and she didn't even listen for my husband's response and brought the check. He had to ask for a dessert menu and we ordered two cups of coffee and dessert. The coffee never came. It wasn't just the errors, because that happens - it was the server giving us the least service possible. It was the deceptive menu. It was the entrees covered in the unhappy mushroom surprise. We have a choice where we spend our dining money. It will be awhile before we try again here.

Review based on ÇOVID precautions. I have not visited the inside dining, only curbside pickup. Customer service is great. My order always ready on time! Very friendly staff Grilled Salmon is great. Steaks good too. BBQ ribs are excellent too. The pasta main courses are well prepared and tasty. When I lived in Omaha area, service was terrible. This site gets it right!

A party of 12 is too large for this Applebee's, so that's on our party planner. We should have gone to Perkins, which was discussed after waiting half an hour in the parking lot for a call from inside (you can't make reservations). But we hung in there and after the other ten people crowded into two booths, my wife and I decided to sit at the bar so we had some elbow room. The menu is very misleading on some items. I wanted to try the new entree of Lemon Shrimp Skewer only to be told that I couldn't substitute sides. What kind of service is that?! At $14.99 I should be able to pick any sides I want! Anyway, Ryan A. was nice enough and apologized for the menu (he's why they got 3 stars, otherwise it would have been one). There was a little mark about the size of a fly speck showing which menu items came with choices for 2 sides. Fortunately the broccoli and rice were acceptable sides. I don't expect we'll be going back unless someone gives us a gift certificate and even then I might just pass it on to someone else.
