Great food. Great hospitality. I knew I was at the right place when I could smell delicious smoky goodness from down the street. This place is run by a lovely couple so the service might not be the fastest but great food requires patience. I had ribs and brisket with mashed potatoes and greens and they're all delicious. I will stop by this place every time I'm in Marshall.
We were driving through from south Louisiana on our way to Dallas and stopped here on a whim. SO thankful we did because this might be the best BBQ we have ever had. Everything was fall off the bone tender- we had the ribs, brisket, and sausage. The bbq sauce was tangy and plentiful. And the family that owns it was so nice and welcoming. Do not pass this place up!! We might even have stop again on the way back home.
I'm really picky about my bbq so it was a nice surprise when everything was an amazing, perfect richness to the meat, it wasn't dry either, the sauce was delicious, the service was pleasant, and felt like I was just at a friend's house. I would recommend this to anyone! Their peach cobbler was delicious and had a perfect sweetness.
I came in today. This place is great. People where super nice. The ribs and brisket lawd have mercy amazing. I came down for business from Oklahoma and wanted some Texas bbq. It's in a house and when I saw it I new it was going to be good

Bar none best bbq in county if not the state. And thats a fact. Master of bbq fried ribs and makes a killer banana pudding. Texas Monthly agrees.

Every time i travel to Tulsa i stop by.
Walked in 15 min to close first time and he fed me.
Help said "kitchen closed". I said "there got to be something in here i could eat".
He came out of the kitchen stuck his meat hook out and shook my hand said "sit down i will serve you".
The food was great. The meat was tender and with large portions. The owner was friendly making a great lunch stop.
My Business Partner/Sister and I drove from Ruston to Shreveport. We were not disappointed with this Great BBQ!!! Can't Wait to go back!
