I love this place!!!!! I used to come to this bakery every morning with my grandpa as child and we’d get the nut rolls. Came back recently and they still taste wonderful! Glad they survived through the pandemic!!!!
We grew up in this town and always loved this bakery. We stop in when we are visiting family. Definitely recommend.

The best Bakery around, a gem in Marshall so be sure to stop by when you are in down. I love the eclairs and the chocolate drop cookies the most - but the seasonal treats are wonderful for the kiddos, like the cupcake bunnies for Easter or cookie hearts for Vday.
I'm sad they traditionally take the month of my birthday off (july) because I'd love to get my birthday cake from them as well - I already get my kids cakes from them - I just call ahead and they can bake up whatever I need and personalized.
You have got to go!!!! I called ahead yesterday to get a BIG box of donuts ready for us upon our arrival. This is one of our simple pleasures living not to far from the bakery.
My husband went in. A few things I noticed as I sat there.
Kids of all ages, young and old alike including my husband all had one thing in common as they came out of that bakery. They all had smiles on. They couldn't wait to eat what they had in those boxes and bags of happiness.
You really can't put a price on true happiness coming out of the door of Louie's bakery.
They have the freshest bakery products. Fast, friendly service. Cash only, unless the order is over $20 - $25. Get there early, they go fast. When they are sold out, they are closed.
Every time I come to MI Marshell I always gotta stop by Louies. Everyone needs to stop by here it's the best donuts in all of MI. Get the Nutrolls they are to die for!
I'd give them 7 stars if I could. Known for their Nutty rolls, I am a Chocolate covered fry cake fan.
I went to Marshall, MI. It's a cute town. Louie's Bakery was a charming bakery. The employees were very nice. I've been traveling to all the bakeries in Michigan. This bakery I will return.
Best doughnuts around the area. Way better than sweet waters. Everything made fresh monday thru friday. The doughnuts are absolutely delicious. You must try them, they are open by 5:30 am, must go early to get the nut rolls and caramel doughnuts. Pies,cakes, cookies, eclairs,doughnuts, drinks, coffee.
