Joe's Cafe

I repeated my order twice over the phone and she still got it wrong. She wasn't the nicest to begin with. Yet, I wish I was able to give it another shot, the deserts looked awesome! There were donuts that were the size of my face! I overheard the lady behind the counter telling a customer they only make 2 of certain items so if you have a specialty favorite they'll set it aside if you call ahead! Anyways I order my food while I was 25 minutes away. I surprisingly received a text 5 minutes after my order was placed telling me my food was ready. Plenty of parking. And a long line at the drive thru. I walked in and added 2 iced coffees (mocha and white chocolate) to my order which tasted more like chocolate milk to me. After I paid it still took me 10 minutes to get my food and out of the door. I originally order 2 philly omelettes with 2 biscuits and one side of gravy. I received 1 of each. LUCKILY with the gravy it was filling enough for my and my partner to share. The food was flavorful and the biscuits were fluffy and crumbly and soft, held its own in the gravy! Definitely quality food here, hopefully you'll be greeted more warmly than I was, still worth a shot!

I had an apple fritter and a couple of sweet rolls. They were awesome. I had a mocha hot coffee which was marginal at best. It seemed like a decent place, but I have to admit... seeing some employees with masks under their chins or with their nose outside the mask, I didn't feel safe. One server sneezed (with mask down), in front of the open donut shelves. I couldn't wait to leave.
