I got the crawfish wrap and my husband got the smokehouse salad. Mine tasted great, but was heavy for lunch. I probably wouldn't order it again. My husband loved his salad, and after tasting it, I regretted not getting it myself. The place is a tiny dive, and when we walked in, based on first appearances, I was a little nervous about the cleanliness and food we were about to get, but the waitress chatted with us the entire time and you can tell it's a real local joint with down home cooking. I quickly remembered not to judge a book by its cover. The prices were reasonable, portions were huge, service was great, maybe a smidge too friendly, if that's possible? When we left, we ordered a 32 oz. daiquiri to share, that was a mistake, that is a lot more daiquiri than one might think! Will go back!
Just a few tables inside but good for small groups. Not too loud. Food is good. Could use a little more Cajun magic (spices) on the seafood. Our server was prompt and courteous. Will have to try their daiquiris another time.
We just needed a quick bite for lunch before heading back into Jean Lafitte National Park. So we just pulled over here. It's a smaller place with plenty of tables but only one other was seated at the time. But the server was so nice that it quickly became one group conversation between her, the other customers and ourselves. So 5 stars for atmosphere. Southern hospitality I suppose.
It's the daiquiris for me, and the amazing service from wonderful staff. The crawfish were phenomenal and I can't recommend this place highly enough ✨✨✨

Yummy, delicious and rustic. You will always get a good southern home cooked meal here. The staff is super helpful and sweet and the food is so good, and always prepared fresh.
Definition of southern hospitality. First time I ever went out of my way to rate a restaurant. I highly recommend. Great service and great daiquiris
