Always a great place for a drink and some food. Bread sticks and white sauce are so good.

Super chill atmosphere, and if you have the French onion soup or the clam chowder, your day just got a lot better! I've only been here twice, but I'm a huge fan! I have been told I must enjoy the pizza as well.

Friendly server great atmosphere food was by far.the best we have had on our trip thru the upper peninsula so far would go back in a heart beat. The bread sticks were absolutely fire and the sauce was the best marina sauce I ever had

Order the breadsticks for sure. There is always a wait at dinner, so be prepared for 45 min wait, but usually a bit faster. You can eat at the bar, which is easy for a couple. Cold beer, good pizza and hot sandwiches and more. Very comfortable place to be.

Great food, breadsticks lived up to expectations. Beefeater Sandwich was flavorful along with the Cajun horseradish sauce. Only downside, hours wait and the kitchen must have been overwhelmed with the customers. Overall, I’d come back!

Eaten here many times over the years. I love the whitefish cake and caprese salad, and the bread sticks are legendary. There's usually a wait but you can get a drink and hang out in the bar while you wait. The outdoor dining area they added a few years ago is very cute and shaded.

Food was good. I was disappointed to have google’s menu be incorrect. Items that google listed were not actually part of their menu. Our service was good and the server was very sweet to our kids. I did find it unusual that there was a sign on the door stating they don’t provide high chairs or booster seats. It was a little off-putting, to be honest.

We were really excited to dine here given their incredibly high ratings on Google as well as Yelp. We read in reviews that even on weeknights you could expect to wait about a half hour to be seated do we went ahead of when we wanted to eat dinner. We waited about 40 minutes to be seated which is no problem since we expected that. Our waitress took our drink orders, then took our food orders when bringing us our drinks. We then did not see our waitress unt our food was ready, which made us unhappy as we went needing drink refills for about 30 minutes of the 40 minutes it took to get our food. We had to ask another waiter to refill our drinks which is unacceptable, especially since they had gotten less busy compared to when we were initially seated. Food all tasted great for everyone, however the portions were on the small side for our kids and a little bit for us adults too. My kids each got only 6 fries with their kids meals which is a little ridiculous. Needless to say that this was our worst dining experience out of our 2 full days in Marquette, especially considering all of the good reviews it has from multiple sources online. We will likely not return here when visiting Marquette in the future.

Wonderful experience! Cheap drinks, amazing food, great service. Vibes were great. This was one of two restaurants in Marquette we got to visit on our trip to the UP from the Lower Peninsula. We would 1000% prioritize coming back to the Portside Inn on future trips!! The bread with the garlic cream cheese dip was AMAZING and you will be thinking about it for months to come. We went in May and I’m still thinking about it in August. Overall, great experience and would recommend.
