Applebee's

My family and I went to the Marion, IL location. After about 20 minutes, we finally had someone take our drink order. After about 30 minutes after we ordered our food, the waitress apologized and said the manager gave our food away. Finally about an hour of waiting, they brought our food to us. The food had a big black long hair in it. They still tried to charge us for everything. The waitress was nice, but the manager wouldn’t even come over to apologize. We will not be going back.

I don't know where to start honestly. I got sat and that was okay. Then it took forever to get waited on. All during the ticket the waitress would not pay attention to my needs. I don't know whether the host working was at fault, the waitress was just busy or what. My experience today was horrible. It has went down a lot from when I came in a few years ago. Undecided if I'll be back or not after this insult of an experience.

Selling a sirloin steak that's not from that actual cut, guarantee they sear them then it sits in a warmer until someone orders it. Ordered mine Blue Rare, the plate was hotter than the steak, (which has more gristle in it than a low grade steak), so I know the sides were reheated in a microwave, and the inside was the same temp as outside and no juice came out when cut. Not to mention that food came out before our drinks got to us, and with 95% of the tables empty, yeah it's all reheated garbage. That's the last meal I'll buy at this location

The husband and I went to our local in Applebee's in Marion, Illinois. When the waitress first came over, she asked what we'd like to drink. When I tried ordering a mixed drink, I was in informed that they didn't have a bartender on shift, but that they had beer on tap and wine available. When I asked what their selection of wine was, one of her first responses was that they had mascato, which I said I'd be happy with. She left, only to return a while later to tell me that they actually didn't have mascato available, at which point I said to just forget it. I ordered an extra side of mac n' cheese with my meal, knowing it would cost extra. What I was met with was a completelu sore excuse .. Something I doubt even a toddler would call as such. Basically some boiled noodles with some shredded cheese slightly melted on top of the very center portion and some crumbled bacon ok top of that...not to mention the fact that my husband's burger was completely dried out to the point where it was literally crumbling off the bun and his fries had absolutely no salt or seasoning on them whatsoever. What an absolute disappointment and waste of money!
