East Of Chicago

Person taking the order over the phone was knowledgeable, very friendly. Pizza was good. Sub was good. Cinnamon pastry balls were hard as if they had been freezer burned. We each tried 1 then threw them and the rest, away. Pickup time was very fast. There is no dine-in so the Marion location has no buffet and a fairly small pickup area. Very quiet. Take-out only.

I love the Chicago style deep dish pizza. East of Chicago is about the only place that consistently makes a good one at a fair price. I got a medium pepperoni, sausage, mushroom deep dish. It was cheesy and extra saucy just like I love it to be! It was done on time and service was fast and friendly. I forgot my coupon and the staff were just going to forget about it and give me the discount anyway. I would recommend East of Chicago- just be aware of what you are paying and what you are getting. It isn't going to be the absolute top shelf quality, but it IS going to be above average at a very competitive price. Their subs are also some of the best for the price, and their salads are also surprisingly good.

Asked for a Chicago melt pizza , Got a Chicago Style Called an asked for a credit. Was told no they could remake it and come take the pizza back I already waited and hour and everything one else has already ate. Just asked for credit! The person on the phone acted like I wanted it Free. As you can see it wasn’t ate. In the trash Where it belongs.

I ordered a large ham and cheese sub with extra meat and cheese. The order taker SWORE it was a large pizza with extra ham and cheese and tried to charge me $18. She argued with me and my bf when he picked it up. Worse service I ever had from there and lost our business. She said her mom was the manager She has taken our order before and was really rude. I feel this should be addressed. Bad customer service for customers to be treated so rude. We wont eat there. Very rude young person. Needs more training in interaction with customers .I have read the reviews. Looks like there is a lot of unsatisfied customers. I love their bread but after tonight I will never go back. We order quite a bit but no more. I have never been treated so rude and called a liar. I am done with it.
