We forgot how good the food was. Been so long since we have been there. Got the family meal, had more than enough food. Plus it came with a free cake.

The food was great, and the workers were even better, first time I've seen everyone work together at such a tiny place, and still succeed to get it done for takeout within minutes of us walking in. Great job guys

The service and staff were great.
The hushpuppies were very well done(about unedible) the fish tasted good but soggy with oil.

They charged me 12 for fish and shrimp but the signh says 6.99 and the coleslaw was missing.
But the food was fresh and hot

Ordered 2 cod platters, fries and coleslaw. Food was just dripping in grease. I know fried food is greasy, but this was to extreme. Oil must not been hot enough for deep frying. Fish and fries soggy with grease. Had to throw out. Shrimp platter ok, sauce for shrimp spilled all over in bottom of bag.
$30 dollars wasted. For sure, won't go there again. Sad.

It’s a gem eating @ LJS. Both restaurants are gone in Parkersburg WV. We always enjoy dining in & eat there. It’s nice to have their business nearby when you’re in the area.
