#quaint A very nice little place to catch a bite and feel the memories of good simple food like grandma made. You'll have to look twice to believe the reasonable prices. The flavor is delicious and reminiscent of breakfast on the farm. I'll be eating here again.
Love this place- the food is fairly priced, and the staff makes you feel as if you're with family. They also have a gorgeous bar and events room
Hidden gem! We stopped for breakfast. The exterior is a little off putting, but once you step inside, it's very charming. The owner was a very sweet lady who waited on us herself. We talked with her a bit about the decor because I could tell someone had spent a lot of time and money renovating the hotel into a restaurant and bar. She explained that most of what was on the shelves (antiques) were from her home. The food was completely made fresh from scratch and delicious. I highly recommend the Bucktail Hotel.
The Bucktail Motel was a great place to stay. I had loads of fun. This vintage hotel has a restaurant, bar, and banquet room. Service was friendly and food was great. If you want to experience an adventure you will love this place. If you want modern conveniences, and prompt service you aren't going to like it. This hotel is owned and operated by an elderly couple and their grandchildren and they operate at the casual speed of a small town hotel in the 1940's. They were friendly, though and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Had lunch here on a cold Friday afternoon to find an amazing little restaurant! Not at all what I expected, much to my delight. Food was great, service was better!

Lovely. Looks like a place from the olden times! Chatted with the owner a bit. Place was built in the late 30's, but modelled after a hotel from the 1890's. Simple fare, but nicely done. Curious about the hotel rooms!
