Stellina

Definitely one of the finer restaurants in town. Quite different, varied, and inspired. Decent portions for an uppity place and not too expensive. Great and attentive service. My one complaint, however, was the serving of room temperature water. Call me uncultured, but I just cannot see the appeal thereof; especially in a hot desert town.

We had to wait before being seated but Stellina was worth the wait. We had 3 smaller plates; the queso, the kale and the pork belly. Everything was really good except the por belly which was a little too salty for my taste. But we were absolutely amazed with the desserts. The custard was the best part of my night! The place is beautiful, right in the middle of Marfa.

This place is AMAZING!! We stayed in Alpine but drove here twice during our weekend trip. The menu changes every day and some of the appetizers are main stays. Both times we had an amazing experience! The first night I ordered pasta and my husband got the steak; the pasta was so delicious, freshly made and you could definitely tell! Highly recommend this place for anyone in town or nearby. The wine list is really good too and pairs really well with the food. It can get busy but for 2 people, we didn't wait too long- maybe 15 minutes around 7pm.

Fantastic dining in Marfa, Texas. If you are out by way of Marfa, don't miss Stellina. Great, fresh ingredients make for well-presented dishes with standout flavor. Good wines to pair with the meal. This restaurant would be a hit anywhere. My only disappointment is that Marfa is so for away from me. Locals, enjoy!
