Excellent experience. Great food. Lightly fried and felt like being at home. Thanks y'all. I will recommend this place to everyone in hill country wanting some good ole Cajun style cooking. The hurricane 4 plate is huge huge way more than enough for two people. 👍
Great shrimp basket. Had the lunch shrimp basket with onion rings and hush puppies. Really liked it. The onion rings were pretty awesome. Highly recommend the restaurant. Will try the gumbo the next time.
Great find for seafood in the Hill Country! Prompt, friendly service. I'll be returning to this gem.
Excellent!! Great find in Marble Falls. One piece of advice, ignore the map on Urbanspoon. It sends you out east of town. Go west off 281.

Amazingly good food that is authentic and fresh. Wish we had one near home.
Thank Goodness for this restaurant! The food is fantastic....perfectly cooked! It is reasonably priced and you get real seafood.....nothing pre-breaded, etc. The wait staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are there to serve you, not hover over you! If you are looking for GREAT seafood, this is the place!
Great Food. Excellent food! The flavor and spices are truly that of New Orleans cuisine. The fish is light and everything is fresh. I highly recommend it to anyone.
The food is great, good prices and very nice people.
Oh my goodness it was so good and the waitstaff was friendly! I wish I lived here and I would be a regular!!!
A Total Suprise...in Marble Falls??. After all the great ratings on Urban Spoon, we just had to try this place...New Orleans in Marble Falls??? Certainly not a fancy place, but then again many great places don't exist on their looks and ambiance. Run by some Katrina Victims who are rebuilding their lives and great dishes in this small Hill Country town.
Tried the Gumbo, which was tasty, but for someone who loves dark roes this fell a bit short. Good flavor, but they've tamed it down for these Central Texans and still kept much of the flavor. Next was Onion Rings served with a great sauce with a touch of horseradish, and Shrimp Brochettes (wonder sauce for dipping), both fantastic!! The Rings were thick slices of onion lightly breaded and fried perfectly (a must have), the Brochettes were different that I'm use to on the Gulf Coast in that they were lightly breaded and fried rather than grilled (another must have). Around the table we had a shrimp platter, AYCE catfish, seafood platter, and a Cobb salad (daughter-in-law doesn't like seafood). Of course most of the entrees contained fried seafood all of which was nicely seasoned, with a light batter and fried to perfection; none of this "lets wrap micro seafood in THICK batter and fool 'em approach. Shrimp were excellent in both dishes and very surprising to someone who grew up in Houston where we have dozens of great seafood restaurants.
Definitely worth trying if you're in the Marble Falls area, and certainly worth veering off Hwy 71 for the short trip up Hwy 281. Being from Houston where we received thousands of Katrina victims who stand around waiting for something to happen, it's wonderful to see these folks MAKING IT HAPPEN by working to rebuild their lives and bring a touch of New Orleans to this sleepy little town. My hat is off to them, and my appetite is always open to them! BRAVO!!!!
Great place very very legit!!!!! Been around since 2009 a diamond in this small town support your local. They make lot from scratch and very lovely and great quality. Believe me I am a picker eater and love my first taste of Cajun food in Marble Falls. Not too many parking spots but worth it when you visit. We will be back from Austin.
Amazing story behind the restaurant. People are very friendly. Service was little slow, but food is amazing! True N'awlins taste! The Seafood Legeire was so tasty! My enjoyed her fried chicken. We'll definitely be back!
Whoo-weee! Everything we tried was so good. Fried catfish, grilled catfish with crawfish sauce, onion rings and we sampled the gumbo.
Real New Orleans Style Restaurant in Marble Falls is one of my "go to" places to eat. I appreciate the owners/waitstaff as they are always friendly, courteous and attentive. The food is authentic as you would expect and always delicious and served hot. I really appreciate that this restaurant was/is open for seating during these pandemic times when most area restaurants were not.
My wife and I were in town for an adults only weekend and found this gem. If you are looking for authentic Cajun/Creole cooking, this is your place. I had the Seafood Legier and it was the cleanest catfish filet I have had in a long time. All the seafood was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection.
Stumbled upon this place while day tripping though Marble Falls and what a gem! The staff are so friendly. Especially if you're from the south, you'll feel right at home. Some of the best crawfish I've ever had anywhere, including in New Orleans which make sense because they're from there.
Great food. Great service. Such a cute little whole in the wall. Will be back next time we're driving through.
