It is a quiet place, where you enjoy seeing friendly people and the staff that work there are also very friendly and kind.
I went on a Wednesday and there was a very good musical group. We had a great time, I will definitely visit again.

Of the 37 years I've lived in the area, this was my first time visting the Alden Cafe. The place was empty and not much going on. We were there about 8pm on a Saturday evening too.
I've since been back a few times and have actually stayed to hang out and have some food. One major plus, they have fried pickles! I've also tried the buffalo wings (medium) and they are phenomenal!! Absolutely way better than the Jug Handle. The place seems to always be filled with the usual bar flies and sometimes service can be a bit slow, but we usually grab a table to ourselves and enjoy the food. Definitely give the Alden a shot if you're looking for some good, local wings!!

Being new to the area, we've been trying lots of local small biz restaurants and bars. Finally made it out to Alden Cafe and it was nothing short of superb! Sometimes it can be intimidating trying new bars as a new face but the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. The bartenders were attentive and we never waited for drinks. Food was great and made fresh! This will definitely be a regular spot for us from now on!

Hot pork sandwich and Italian sausage and pepper sandwich are both good. Fries available for an upcharge. Portions of fries 🍟 are very small. Hardly anyone was in the place when we were there, but service was still slow. The nice outdoor furniture that was there until recently has now been replaced with uncomfortable picnic tables. Used to be a place to go to regularly. Not any more.

Stopped here for lunch. The menu is amazing! Plenty of room lots of tables and a tent for outside seating. It's a great local restaurant..food was great the staff is friendly. I never really thought about stopping there for lunch but I'm really glad I did and would recommend it highly.
