Solos Pizza Cafe

I am really wishy-washy on how to rate this place. This place is interesting in how the pizzas are so flexible on the toppings. Regardless of how many cons there are we still like to get pizzas here sometimes. Pros: Lots of topping options Staff are friendly (been here many times and they have all been kind) Hot pizza if they get it out fast Everyone gets ice cream Fountain drink machine has variety Lobby is always well maintained Cons: Cheesy sticks are a cheese pizza (we were very confused when we saw this) Freezing in the lobby Have to eat it fast because is so cold the pizza gets cold Messy unkempt prep/whole kitchen area (If this place got shut down for it I would not be surprised. There was flour, cheese and toppings all over. The totally visible back looks chaotic.) The menu boards are in poor shape and the prices are incorrect. The brownies were labeled with cookie labels. There were 2 types of brownie, but it was a mystery what they were. We tried a brownie anyway and did not like it. It was thick, heavy, gritty, and lacked flavor.

First time Solos guest...Pizza was good...service was fair...Slice online ordering was a total bust. My order didn’t show up to the restaurant until my pickup time. I I wasn’t alone. Others there waiting, having the same issue with Slice. Lots of room to improve the guest experience considering the pizza is good. Hopefully better next time. Cheers!

This place has gone down hill since new management took over in early 2019. Soda, drink, and ice cream machines are broken for months, the place is dirty (see spiders and giant dust bunny pic), staff doesn't know what's on their own menu and need to ask you 3+ times what you want to order b/c they can't remember what you said seconds ago. As another review on here said, the staff doesn't know what's in their salads and they make it wrong. It wouldn't take much for the new owner to clean the place, replace the covers on the seats, fix the signage, and fix the broken machines in a reasonable amount of time. At least the pizza is still good.

While their pizza is amazing. Their service lately is so so.... Ordered exactly 15 minutes ago.... Still waiting. There are only 2 customers in the whole store.... Edit..1 star... . After an over 20 minute ticket time in an empty store. Get home and my pizzas are not even close to cooked enough. Holy dough... I know restaurants dont like customers in between lunch and dinner but this is silly...

This is the drink station. The rest of the place doesn't look much better. It was not clean at all. Pizza was still good (and staff working hard) but I have to wonder about the cleanliness of the food prep area if this is what the customer seating area looks like. Probably my last visit to Solos until I see improvement.

I really love this place & if they were open I'd give it 4 Stars, but looks like it may have shut down for good. Giving them the benefit of the doubt & only docking 1 star for that. I tried to use up some gift cards I had on Sunday - July 12th, 2020 & unfortunately saw this sign. I hope they come back with a vengeance (I'd love to help them do it), but I have a bad feeling that this may be permanent :(
