The Porch recently catered my daughter's wedding. It was outdoors with no electricity, no water, and 500 guests and they were OUTSTANDING! Great job and GREAT FOOD!So grateful for their assistance and advice from start to finish!
This place is amazing, great atmosphere! The staff is so friendly, and funny. I tried the sweet multigrain pancakes with bananas...fantastic! I can't wait to go back.
We have visited The Porch several times and thoroughly enjoyed it every time. From the time you walk in, you feel welcome. The service was efficient and friendly. The real star is the food. Quality ingredients equals great food. We've enjoyed several amazing breakfast platters and lunch. A hidden gem in Mansfield.
First time here and really enjoyed it!!! BYOB is a plus for me! Liver-n-onions and fried catfish were the main courses. Both were top notch!! Fried pickle appetizers are a meal by there self!!!! Great portions too!!! Going back cause there's a lot on the menu to be savored!!

Ordered the southern scrambler and had them add slices tomatoes (if you haven't tried it, try it). Tasted good, although disappointed that the gravy was not home made. The biscuit was, so go the extra mile for the gravy ;) The portion was huge! Price reflects how much food you get. Blueberry muffin French toast was delish, like dessert. Took a long time for food to come out (well into my 2nd cup of joe). Pepper shaker had powdered black pepper, went everywhere when shaken. Fresh ground would have been nice.
Service was average, sweet waitress though. Overall, not bad experience.
Wonderful experience all around. We tried out The Porch for the first time the other day. The food was fabulous and the waitstaff and manager were fantastic also. It's definitely a place we will frequently dine at. You HAVE to try their peanut butter cheesecake!!
Great food and service! Much improved food delivery time and overall service from when this restaurant first opened. Great tasting food! You've got to try the chicken fried bacon.
The Mansfield location has become a weekly breakfast tradition on our family. It's clean and VERY KID FRIENDLY. ( Mickey Mouse pancakes, fresh fruit ). The thick cut applewood smoked bacon (huge serving) is the best I've ever tasted. Owner Geovany is eager to please and frequently stops by to visit. We've taken company there several times, and the only problem is trying to eat it all! Killer homemade yeast rolls, too. At my request , Geovany has added gluten free toast to the menu . Just ask for it. Staff are friendly and accommodating. If you go with little ones, Kammie is wonderful.
Great Food. I've been several times now. Breakfast twice, lunch once and dinner twice. I have yet to try something that wasn't great! The roast was tender and very good, the chop steak and eggs were great. The pancakes are very fluffy. The serving sizes are huge. Their spicy ranch dressing is incredible. Like many of the other reviewers we try and support local businesses and we will absolutely continue to go to The Porch.
On a side note - the owner was great to us. Always polite and always stops by the table to say hello. You can tell a couple of the servers are not as experienced as the others but even so we have never had any issues with the staff.

We ate here for the first time about a week ago! The onion rings had such a good flavor, my salad was really good! My girls enjoyed their burgers 🍔 and my husband really enjoyed his large burger! But I do wish there was a little more pickle in the fried pickles but the flavor was good! Go check this place out!!!!
We just ate here for the first time and will definitely be back when we're in town! Our waitress, Heather, was AMAZING! She was very helpful and attentive! All 4 kids devoured their food (any one with multiple kids knows it can be hard to find something that everyone will eat at the same place). Our 3 year old is super picky and she ate most of her food plus some of everyone else's so that's definitely a plus for us! My husband got the Porch Burger and he said it's definitely in his top 5! I got the Monte Cristo and I will say it was one of the best I have had! Highly recommend this place!
This was our first visit here. Upon entering, we were promptly seated. Our waitress was very friendly. She answered any questions we had. Our food was served with very little wait. Everything was tasty and hot. The portions were huge. Any review that said otherwise probably came from people who find problems in everywhere they go. We will be back.
This place is well worth it!!! I had the guacamole on rye bread with two fried eggs. Also, you are able to buy a coffee cup for 19.99, well made cup @ that.
Best diner in the Mansfield area. Generally, no to a small wait unlike another favorite. They have the best coffee, bar none and they're reasonably priced. This time around I had the machaka and eggs with sliced tomatoes.
It was our first time time eating here. We were a little unsure when the tables hadn't been cleaned, but they quickly cleaned the table and we are glad we stayed. The food was amazing! Our waitress was really sweet! We will definitely be back again!
