I haven’t had Pavone’s in a few years since moving from Manlius. It was amazing as always. I can’t quite put my finger on the reason why, but their pizza is the best I’ve ever had, hands down.

In 1987 we moved to Manlius, New York and discovered the great taste of Pavone’s Pizza! We have moved all over the east coast and now live in Utah. There has been no other pizza that tastes as good as Pavone’s! Every time we visit New York, we always go to Pavone’s. The great taste of their pizza never fails. It’s as delicious as it was in 1987!
Best pizza in town! But I have feedback and one recommendation. The pizza bread is chewy. This happens when the dough is kneaded too much and forms too much gluten. My recommendation is to knead the dough less. Thank you and look forward to continued business!

Pizza and garlic bread knots were excellent. Exactly what I expected from a local Central New York pizza joint. My wife is from nearby this area and I love visiting for great pizza and alright family. Would highly recommend, especially if you are just looking to grab a slice for lunch. Took a while for the couple pies I ordered to go. Not the most personable staff but they were friendly.
Best pizza in Syracuse. We prefer Twin Trees calzones and their pizza is a close second.
If this is the same Pavones Pizza that was in Riverside Mall Utica back in the 70's and 80's I am very much looking forward to visiting you next week. I recall the best Sicilian pizza I've ever had from the mall.
The crust is super thin one of the best around. Always support to going here. One of my favorite pizza places.
Best pizza around so far. The staff isn’t like, overly friendly, but that’s just how they are, I guess. We eat there often and just have come to see that. Delivery is always quick and the people who deliver are friendly. We’ve spent hundreds and only had one pizza slightly overcooked. Extra sauce and extra cheese is the way to go, here!! My husband loves the wings, and he has tried lots. The chicken tenders are great. Friend veggies are my go-to. Mozzarella sticks have the batter instead of bread crumb crust, so not a fan of those (that’s just me). We live JUST outside of where they set they’re delivery parameter, but they deliver because we’re literally 8 minutes away (though we’re Caz address). So, thank you!!!
Note they add 3.5% to your bill if you use a credit card. The pizza is good and the staff is friendly enough. It is no-nonsense local pizza shop. I am not sure if it is not a health code, but watching a guy in sandals , shorts and a t-shirt scoop raw chicken wings out of a bin to put in the fryer was a little unsettling - but not enough for me not to order wings here.
Everyone I've interacted with at this location is polite and respectful to me despite the madness. Sometimes I'll get an extra knot or pinwheel which makes my experience even greater! Last night I stopped in for a calzone and they happened to have a couple extra medium pizzas and I got both of them for $6...nuff said...GOD BLESS! 🍕❤ 🥁
