Nupa

I changed my rating because even though the food is good, the service is slow to improve. I've gotten wrong or confused orders multiple times. Kind of disappointing when I've only had good service at other locations. Nupa has been making great food for years and I'm so excited for a Mankato location. Delicious and fresh food. Just needs to refine the front end.

This place is so COOL. The vibe inside is awesome. The Greek music was a nice touch, not overwhelming, but I found myself dancing in my chair a bit. The bar seating was unexpected, and they have TVs too so you can hang out and watch a game. The food is fantastic! We had the sampler appetizer so we could try everything, and then I had the gyro pita with Greek salad and rice for my meal. The portions are large, and it was all SO GOOD I couldn't stop eating it. I'm still dreaming of the next time I can get another gyro, and they sell the salad dressing in a bottle too, so I'm definitely taking some home next time!

Nupa is a very modern, clean, and bright new restaurant in Mankato. The counter staff was very helpful and patient. The speed of service was very good, though it wasn't very busy. The food was very fresh and well prepared. It also looked gorgeous. I would have like the spice pumped up a bit, but that's personal preference.
