Closest to home cooking we've ever had at a restaurant. Beer battered fried walleye classic, Broasted chicken dinner, burgers and sandwiches. Breakfast ALL day! Server was delightful! Cook even came out to clarify an order. If you like the cosy feeling from throw back nautical decor and getting treated to a good comforting meal and a scratch made dessert this is your happy place.

The Sunday chicken dinner is AWESOME. You can't beat the price! Half of boasted chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, a vegetable and a roll. All for under $10.00! This is our new go to place on Sundays.

We had my inlaws down for some fish. It was fantastic with German potato salad "hot" my wife's burger was delicious. Could tell it was all homemade and this was important to us!
Having recently moved to Manitowoc from southeast Wisconsin we really hadn't found a bad meal in the area. On a side note the service at the galley was hands on great! We will be back.

An older building with worn finishings but welcoming. Generous and delicious Home cooked meals. Our young waitress was personable and friendly. See pictures of the meal and desserts.

I truly don’t know how this Buisness is still in operation, I don’t know how anyone who’s been here could possible return. Food is absolutely awful, even the sofa was bad. Soda! I’m not joking- there was more Syrup in the soda than there was on their pancakes. The cheesey omelets cheese was two Kraft single slices sitting cold ontop of the omlet. 😂 someone do TR a favor and burn that monstrosity down.

I still dream about that walleye sandwich I got at The Galley back in 2011 when visiting from Cincinnati. We plan on visiting for lunch on 5/20/2022 again, can't wait!
