This place is a throwback from yesteryear. Your typical greasy spoon diner. You don't find many old school places to eat anymore. Cheeseburger was terrific! Fries were perfect! Chocolate milkshake was terrible. The staff, even though busy was friendly, excellent service. Plenty of parking and plenty of outdoor seating, plus counter seating inside too. Even though the milkshake was a dud, the food was great!

Clyde’s was well promoted before we tried it and it did not disappoint. Both of my 17-year-old sons tried the famous cheeseburger and agrees it was the best in the UP! Our celiac guess was able to order GF chicken finger and fires because they have a dedicated fryer - all in all, a great choice!

What a great find! Driving through from a family vacation and needed a quick dinner. Great burger. Raspberry shake is awesome. Coleslaw was wonderful. We will definitely come back if we come through again. Thank you so much!
