Just Salad

I ate there this afternoon and was in for a quick lunch so I could get more studying done. Quick it was, due to a non existent line (draw your own conclusions). I am also on a mostly vegan diet with a few exceptions, and this place seemed ideal. I approached the counter and ordered the California salad which includes chicken. Chicken is not a part of my diet so I told them to hold it. I replaced it with tortilla chips. The salad was made, I was offered a piece of bread, but also having a gluten allergy, I declined. So here I am with a bowl of veggies and no extra toppings and no main protein besides some egg whites (I know, egg whites. Again, mostly vegan). I was charged full price. What?!?! full price! I didn't get chicken! I didn't get bread! Chicken is most of the price of the salad. There should have been a price reduction. I ordered maybe a $5-$6 salad and was charged nearly $10. I inquired about price reduction, but was told it could not be done. It was B.S. And BTW, they are not chopping salads anymore, they just stick it in a bowl and give it to you. Truly are getting lazy and stingy over at Just Salad in the student union. Just trying to take advantage of students who already don't have a lot of money to begin with. Preying on students in a weak position that need to get back to school work and don't have time to go off campus for lunch. What a racket.
