The Wine Loft Mandeville

Let me start by saying, I understand the challenges of staffing in covid world. We have been to this restaurant several times, many at the old location and a couple at the new location. The fist time we went the experience was great, we went for my wife's birthday. The second time which was last night was for my birthday and the experience was not even close to being good, first off the evening was fine, sat down ordered drinks. This was at about 7:30pm. I could tell our server was a little distracted with another table that seemed to know the manager of the restaurant. We were a table of 8, she did not handle our table well. The bottom Line is the food did not come out until after 10pm then to top it off the porkchop I had ordered was cold in the middle, the length of time we were forced to wait pretty much ruined our evening,. Everyone was tired and not in much of a good mood. If I had not threatened to cancel the entire order who knows when it would have been served. At the end of the day a meal should not take as long as an entire NFL game to be brought to the table. We will never return to this restaurant and I will warn everyone I know off of it. They can never give me back the night of my birthday, and every thing it took to gather the family together. BTW we spent north of 1k

Everything was delish. My scallops were so yummy. I also got to taste my friend's tuna; according to them, this was the first time they cooked this dish for guests. I also ordered a side of brussels sprouts. It was a huge portion! Very good. I had a taste of the cherry ice cream; like everything else, it was to die for. Tanner was our server.

Called in late (6pm) on a Friday and spoke with Johnathon. Explained I was calling in at the last minute and reservation app only showed 7:45pm availability and asked if I could get in sooner. Jonathon said come on over and he would accommodate. Arrived 20 minutes later and had another spectacular meal at Pardo's. I enjoyed the Flounder and my wife had the seared tuna. The wedge salad was great as was the brussel sprouts that never disappoint. This restaurant is only 1/4 mile from my home and is always busy (indicative of a great restaurant). I have had many great meals here and anytime someone comes in from out of town I always take them here. They are always surprised 1) that it is so close and 2) that the dining experience is 5 star. Such a blessing to have this restaurant in Mandeville and near home. Thanks again Johnathon.
