Just Chillin Mandeville

Very popular place. We go here almost every time we are in the area. The place is not very large but moves a lot of good cold dessert quickly. There is plenty of parking area nearby. The staff is pleasant, courteous and efficent. Although it appeared busy we has out deserts in less than 10 minutes for 6 of us. There is an large variety of flavors and combinations. Portions are generous. You'll be back for more.

This will forever be one our favorite sweet stops! We drive all the way from Ponchatoula once a month just to have ice cream or a snowball from Just Chillin. The staff is always so friendly and fast and the seating area is kept very clean. My favorite ice cream flavor is the cookie butter! It's a vanilla flavored ice cream with biscoff cookie chunks that melt in your mouth! If you're hesitant on a flavor you can always ask for a sample flavor. They also sell the ice cream in pints to go! Whatever you decide on— you're sure to love it.

I asked for a snowball with extremely light syrup and the girl taking my order was very friendly, however, when I received it there was the normal/ extra syrup on it. I brought it back to the window and explain to a different girl and she takes the snowball and comes back within 15 seconds ( which I thought was strange if she were remaking the snowball.) I get back into the car and leave and she had just dumped an inch of my snowball out and replaced it with the plain ice. The rest of the snowball underneath is still full of syrup.

Yummy snowballs & friendly service. It was easy to stay 6 feet from other customers when waiting for our order. I love getting half coffee cream & half chocolate cream snowball. My kiddos love their spearmint & my hubby says the strawberry snowball is good, too. 🙂. They have ice cream, too.😁 Update: We got mudpie, honeycomb, lights out, & mint cookie ice creams this evening. So good! Mudpie is coffee ice cream with chips & Oreo style cookies; honeycomb has delicious crunchy honey bits; lights out is chocolate with Oreo style cookies; mint cookie is exactly that, mint & Oreo style cookies. Lovely treat!!! Awesome staff. Very patient with goofy young teens that were in front of us this evening. 😁

When I'm on the Northshore, this is hands down my number one place to grab a nice cold snowball. The ice they have is so soft, plenty of flavors to choose from and even nake stuffed snowballs. (IMO, their homemade "sweet cream" is the best!!) highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice snowball with this summer beat we have in La. And a bonus to this place is, even if it's raining, you can still get a snowball since they have an inside area where you can order instead of just ordering from the outside window.
