Great service, very good food. Nice “lite” menu for us lighter eaters (but portions are still large). Nice layout and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Also an easy walk from our rented condo.

Arrived mid week and off season. Restaurant was recommended to us on short notice. Food was excellent and service even better. Can highly recommend the Mogul.

We were staying a night in Mammoth Lakes and wanted to have a good meal. The lady at where we were staying recommended this place as well - well within walking distance from our accommodation. There was about a 10-15 minuted wait since we had not made a reservation (reservations are recommended).
The restaurant has a nice cozy & warm atmosphere. And service was great too.
We started off with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and some mushrooms sauteed in garlic, white wine and butter - they sounded so delicious and tasted even better. A side of complimentary bread was also served along.
We were 4 of us, and order 2 Combos among us. Top Sirloin & fresh fish (in this case the Halibut) and Crabs & Halibut. The steak was pretty good. But I'd give the Halibut a miss - it didn't quiet live up to the taste to any of us. It was pretty bland and tasteless - perhaps that's how the fish is preferred.
We did decide to go for dessert and ordered the Cinnamon Charlotte. Nothing very fancy about this dessert - too much of caramel that you can barely find the white cupcake that's in the description.
It's a restaurant that I would perhaps go back to, but just for the ambiance. And maybe try some different food. :-)

A good place to get steaks if you are in Mammoth. I got the New York Steak and enjoyed it. It could have been better it felt lacking in the seasoning.
The service was great, they gave bread appetizers. The environment of the restaurant felt very welcoming and friendly.
We were recommended mogul from our Airbnb host and we were so happy we did. We walked in without reservation and they took us right in.
From the start out server Leon was amazing. He checked on us and was so friendly. I went with the prime rib and lobster tail...both were amazing and cooked perfectly.

Food was decent...it wasn't great but just ok. Vegetables came with the steak were no good...either just steamed or boil in water. Shrimp was really good but filet mignon was just ok.
Oh my gawdddd…5⭐️ to service, ambiance, food and a variety of amazing appetizers!! I highly recommend the mushrooms but everything must be good too😊 we came here back to back because it was just that good but most importantly the customer service is on point. It’s a good choice to celebrate or simply just spoil yourself cus you deserve it!!
Loved our experience here. I throughly enjoyed my Surf & Turf. While my wife had the Filet & Shrimp combination. We enjoyed our post wedding weekend.

We came for Fathers Day weekend just did a hike & was craving steak. I wanted a steak salad there was not one on the menu so I ordered the summer salad with the petite steak. It was the best steak salad I ever had. My hubby loved the mashed potatoes.
