Nanola

We had an amazing Sunday Mardi Gras Brunch at Nanola today. We had the pleasure to have Bradley as our waiter. He went out of his way to get us a table even though we didn’t have a reservation. Even though the restaurant was very crowded, he took excellent care of our party of nine, four of which were children. He was super accommodating. The food was amazing and the beignets were to die for! The Brass Machine was the live entertainment, and they were top-notch. Make sure you stop by and ask for Bradley. We will be back.

I took my wife out to dinner at Nanola's Restaurant. We were seated immediately, and they had a Live Band playing. Other than the fact that the music was a little bit too loud for the small size of the Restaurant, which made it hard to hear your conversations at your own table. The prices were decent, and the food was Extremely Exceptional.

Bartender was friendly and professional. Mozzarella sticks were very good. Jambalaya was very disappointing. It was around 10pm, so that could be why. Mostly canned tomatoes, chicken breast, very little beans and rice, no sausage. Only flavoring I could pick up on was garlic. Fortunately had the right amount of spice.

Went there once - will never go back. When ethnic food is taken out of its natural environment, there is a tendency to overexaggerate the characteristics for which it is famous. Cajun food is spicy, but Nanola takes spicy to an extreme. I've eaten in many fine restaurants in Cajun country, but Nanola just doesn't compare.

Pretty ridiculous when my wife and friends and myself went here for my birthday and had a thousand dollars planned to spend was completely sober and the bartender decided to immediately be rude to my wife all because she tried to tell him a virgin drink for our daughter when he was already making one for our friends kid, then when he was done he said he refused to serve us that we were stumbling which is hilarious seeing how nobody was drinking yet! Absolutely ridiculous to say the very least!!!!! Wow really now your staff tries to lie and say somebody was missing a shoe you must really have some blind mentally handicapped employees that must be hitting the bottle when your head's turned! And the excuse that they gave us was that we were stumbling drunk well that's funny seeing as how my wife and I were dressed appropriately and stone cold sober so your staff might want to get their facts straight before they go slandering people that would have been very well paying customers
