13 North

My boyfriend and I arrived last night. We did not have reservations, but we're fortunate enough to get a couple seats at the bar. We were quickly greated by Jennifer the batender/mixologist (featured in a pic below). She was fantastic and is creating new adult beverages for the menu. Last night one of her creations was on the special list - a Snickerdoodle Martini! WOW! Absolutely out of this world! We began our meal with the 13 North loaded french fries. Sorry, we dug in before I could get a picture. They were delicious! Oh my!! Then our entrees came out...Lobster Ravioli in a garlic, bacon scallion vodka sauce. Holy wow! The portions are very large and the flavors burst! Our dinners were accompanied by a hot loaf of bread, one scoop of soft garlic & herb butter and one scoop of cinnamon & sugar soft butter. (Soft butter has a soft spot in my heart. Hate rock hard butter with bread) After eating our entire appetizer, we could only eat 1/2 of our entrees and ordered desert to go (all desserts are made on site). My boyfriend ordered the Candy Explosion cheesecake made with kit Kat, M&Ms, ect, myself, the Trifecta cheesecake layers of different chocolate with a whipped creaming chocolate chip topping. Today I finished off my leftover Ravioli and started in on my cheesecake. I rarely have an issue finishing dessert, however 1/2 of it is going to to have to wait until tomorrow. I'm stuffed! A special shout out to Jennifer our server, bartender and mixologist- you are not only extremely well versed in the science of creating delicious cocktails, but your especially social and have a great down to earth fun personality! To Patty in the kitchen for your fabulous and "to die for" meals and desserts! My boyfriend and I agreed that 13 North is the best restaurant we've ever experienced in all aspects from ambiance to service and quality/quantity! The close second is Salmon Run in Lee MA.

Overnight stop in Malta NY. Awesome restaurant find. Quaint dining atmosphere. First impression was an inviting place with personality. Host was great at getting a party of 4 seated without a reservation💗 The menu is fantastic! All dishes are in house made ie. sauces dressings and dishes are prepared to order how you like it. Server Lisa was fun energetic which made the dining experience 5 stars. Ordered 2/pork schnitzel, chicken stack, and fish & chips. If we lived in the area this would be our favorite go to place. Looking forward to out next visit. Thank you for the great service.

Had dinner for the first time tonight. Was looking forward to it based on the good reviews I have read. We started with an order of wings, they were large and under cooked. I ordered the stuff chicken thighs and the mashed potatoes had very large chunks in them and were very bland. The chicken thighs were very over cooked and tough, gravy was very salty. My wife ordered the Chicken Stack and said that it ok but not worth the price. Service was average. The homemade bread was the best part of the meal. Very disappointed with our entire meal. Not sure we would give this place another try.

If you're a foodie. This is a must stop by place. Steak was perfect. Chicken was perfect. Owner also is a foodie!!! Likes to visit spots on their day off to improve their restaurant!!! Friendly, service awesome. On the list of must see again.... Return visit May 2021. Still awesome. Chef's on their game.
